@CantGetRight thats because BF 2042 is the worst BF game that has ever been released. More people still play BF1 and 5, and a lot still play BF4 (which have classes etc). If that doesnt tell you something then nothing will mate

@Spinner1981 I think you are missing my point. If they bring back classes it will lose more players as the ones that want the freedom will leave. The ones that want the class system will come back to try it out but probably not for long and leave as there is so little content. So this will probably kill the game.

    @CantGetRight I get your point, but there wont be that many, to be honest it will probably bring back more.

    If specialists disappeared and brought back proper no name soldiers it would likely bring back even more. I know lots of people (and seen a lot of stuff around the webs) where they wont play the game because of the specialists alone.

    @Spinner1981 We shall see. The ones that want a class structure for the most part don't like the specialist either and with so little content I don't think the class structure will be enough of a change to keep the ones that do come back invested in the game in the long run.

    Exactly, I am one of them. I refuse to buy this game just because if the specialists and no real class system. I played the EA 10 hr trial, I still have 2 or 3 hours left before I Uninstaller it...I just couldn't deal with them anymore.

    If they brought back the full class system back ' class locked gadgets AND weapons AND separated the specialists into factions' then I could agree into buying the game. More so if they gave us skins to make them look like normal soldiers....and got rid of their special abilities and gadgets.

    I still have no idea why they didn't just take the system from 5 and converted it to a modern/futuristic setting and run with it is beyond me..
