@Adamonic Actually in January 2022 it was at 17k and December 2022 it reached 36k

    @ZRuff46 Reread my post, I said outside of the launch window (Nov-Dec 21), the game only hit 20K once from January 22 until now. 17K is not 20K.

    Giving the game away for free, second week of season and a double exp event all converging is more likely causing this than locking gadgets.

    If it was just locking gadgets we would have seen these numbers sooner.  My money is on ps plus and double exp being the driving factors

    There is a social effect, yes. There are likely 10's of thousands of new temporary players trying the game from PS Plus. A portion of those will have friends with Steam version who start playing again with them.

    It's also worth noting that BF2042 was offered at its lowest price on steam sale of -70% off this weekend, globally.
