Re: Thats why Infantry players leaving Battlefield 2042

It's precisely the point. You are grossly over-complicating what is necessary to shoot down a stealth helicopter to justify an easy no-skill solution like locking through flares. This is all while none of the people here can pilot at all. You try flying a any helicopter with hacks, stingers, TV missiles, the other helicopter and transports coming after you. Literally the only way someone gets over 100 kills is if the other team does absolutely NOTHING to stop them.
Also looking at the screenshots again. The pilots are the same people. Maybe they're just that good? Given the small player base that the game has, you're going to go against the same people pretty often. It's like screaming about a gun being OP because idk... Shroud killed you over and over.
I'm not. Legit spent an entire breakthrough match trying to actually damage a hind the attackers had on Kaleidoscope. SOFLAM, stingers, Rao, tried setting up plays. Literally pointless. Last 2 C buildings to capture? Hind just did a loop around the two and was able to quickly break all locks while being able to move vertically to avoid M5's and anything else. No chance of killing it from the ground, just harassing and massacring us all match without ever being killed.
My discussion of the SOFLAM lock was hypothetical, not a change I'm seriously arguing for in the current system.
TV missiles? You mean Liz? Lol, honestly with the missile leaving her 100% vulnerable (love shooting me some Liz's just standing there controlling missiles) and remaining easy to dodge I'm increasingly convinced that you're just a very mediocre pilot and are enjoying feeling like a good pilot for once.
I do enjoy watching learner pilots feeling like gods for the first time trying to argue that this is balanced because they're still killed sometimes, not realizing that if it's this easy for them then imagine how easy it is for actually good pilots.
Real though, gunning in a lot of matches is boring because you're literally just farming infantry with no real risk of dying. Stinger locks on you aren't a threat. SOFLAM locks aren't a threat. Liz is barely a threat. Rao is an annoyance more than anything. Only thing you meaningfully have to look out for as a threat is other aircraft, and if you're playing BT on attack those don't come into play until the C zone when the attackers already have momentum anyways. Just need a decent pilot and attackers are gravey.
