Unfortunately a huge proportion of the playerbase is plain out refusing to use the tools they need for the job.
It is not just the players who cannot be bothered to switch to a specialist or gadget that is better for the situation.
There are even those who are medics yet will not be bothered to revive a teammate at a safe position within 20m of them. The final BFF video we got so far is demonstrating what the Lissile could had been like if people massed Lis like they are supposed to

Medics that don't revive are a constant annoyance, but I think the issue with needing to switch specialist or gadget is people just don't see the point. You can't solo most vehicles unless you're close enough to use C5, which is now even harder since they nerfed the EMP. So most players think, why bother if it means I'm more than likely going to be killed? I'm not suggesting we should be able to easily solo vehicles, but there needs to be balance - either increase the incentives for trying to destroy vehicles, make working together MUCH easier, or make it less like a suicide mission for one person. At the moment, the only effective way to counter vehicles, is other vehicles. Unless you have a really good team that works together, which is like 1 round in 25 or worse.....

You're supposed to team up with lissiles just like how you're meant to have a full tanker squad for spots and repairs.
They're absolutely horrid to control on PS so I don't really think they need any nerfs.
A single tanker can heal faster than a single Lis can do damage anyway so they aren't really a threat
I have replaced all my weapons pods with 40mm cannister shots now and they are great to take out close infantry and works wonders against lis missiles
They will also murder any plane that stray too close

Because more people in the world enjoy destroying the stuff of others than fixing damage and harm ! - JacquesVabres3 years agoNew Veteran
I use the repair sometimes like this morning on a tank or wildcat but against an attack helicopter you can't do anything: it's op. The TV missile is not very effective. The Stinger is a joke implemented by Dice: completely useless. It's a skin.

Stinger is at its most powerful when you do not pull the trigger but use it as psychological warfare. Only pull the trigger if you know the target has no flares or you really want them to spend the flares. - MADMAC50K3 years agoSeasoned Ace@UP_Hawxxeye if a weapon is more powerful when you don't fire it, you know it's broken.... :D

Hey hey, Feints are a valid battle strategy irl tooTo make the enemy uncertain about when the attack will come or to mislead them about how many arrows/bulelts/rockets etc you have available is all part of war.
I bet the Art of War has something about that too.
- MADMAC50K3 years agoSeasoned Ace@UP_Hawxxeye I think that would be fine if it wasn't for the fact that air vehicles are also alerted when a missile is incoming. Only a n00b pilot will pop flares as soon as they hear lock on, and they aren't the real threat - it's the experienced, skilled pilots who wait for the missile incoming warning before popping flares, so not really a valid tactic for them.

@MADMAC50K
As an experienced pilot I can say that it adds the amount of things one has to keep track of. It gets exponentially scarier if it is not just a single source of lock-ons.
If it happens a lot the pilot might get impatient and start taking bigger risks. All that said, to quote one of the better pilot streamers out there "Nightbird has only been OP since the beta"
Just because i want to play tank doesnt mean everyone should feel obligated to do so too
How easy do you think it is for an MAV to survive against enemies? Escpesially on 64 v 64 where half of the 64 of the enemy team uses something that is anti tank and its not limited to classes either - a good suggestion in my eyes is to remove anti tank equipment from all classes except engineer -
