Real BF2042 Gameplay - Hazard Zone, Portal, Rush & Conquest!

Watch the vid and enjoy the new BF world for us to have fun in!

Battlefield 2042 Gameplay - Hazard Zone, Portal, Conquest. - YouTube

It looks awesome!

If EA had released gameplay like this along the journey to game launch, the backlash or skepticism would have been way less.

Can't wait to put my feet on the ground in a game later today.

Gonna be epic!

@K3_600That's really good to hear, what do you feel has improved from the beta.

    Actually @RayD_O1 ,

So many things have improved drastically here since Beta, certainly for me on PS5 console!

The soldiers and vehicles are now moving smoothly, gone is the lagging and teleporting.

The animations of game events are now fluid, including entering/exiting vehicles.

Hit registration appears right on and solid as it should be.

The rendering graphics of surroundings is fixed, so aka terrain and vegetation looks good, also while moving.

The sound scheme is back full on as we know it should be in Battlefield and in synch with what we observe on screen.

The bugs on dropping out of the map appear fixed.

The bugs on seeing yourself outside the vehicles when in 3rd person is fixed.

    Etc etc...

Sensation is as if the servers are more up on speed on ticks and framerates, certainly compared to how we experienced it during Beta on console.  Will try and enable the network analytics next I play here to see what the stats say on this.

  • Got to agree with you that makes me look forward to tomorrow with a lot more enthusiasm. 🙂

  • I cancelled my pre-order and at the least minute pre-ordered again and really glad I did. Played about 30 minutes so far and this is a million miles removed from the 'Beta' version.

Can't wait til I switch to the main early access, assuming that the 10 hour EA Play trial doesn't save loadouts etc?

The whole quality and feel of the game seems better; seems like you have a fighting chance of getting to cover and not insta-dieing; so much cover and the conquest map I played is huge!!

When you look at the list of fixes that was posted, you can definitely appreciate the work that has gone on since the 'Beta'.
