Refund Battlefield 2042 Ultimate Edition on PS5 , PLEASE HELP !

Hello EA ,

I'm back here after 60 hours of Battlefield 2042 gameplay. You're making fun of this community with this game.

The game is terrible, poorly optimized, running at 40 fps on PS5.   It's the worst game in the franchise and I want to get my 120 euros back. Please help me get my money back because I was "robbed" by EA with this game.

I'm waiting 🙂

  • Sonys refund system needs looking at but you're not getting anything after 60hrs (can't be that bad to have that much time in 2 weeks). Plenty of single player games you could play through twice in that amount of play time.

  • @rizzo777 Got my refund back after a week of playing this game. And I got it back on Playstation, Xbox and PC. Had to buy the game 3 times because it wouldn't cross over. It is possible @PremiumDamian
  • I too am wondering why i spent £100 on the Ultimate version.

This game in it's current form is worth £30 tops.

    No campaign, limited solo/coop play.

No progression in portal and the promise of 4 new specialists over a years season.

Do we really need more specialists?

Like come on, no one cares about the stupid specialists.

It's the whole content thats really lacking in substance.

EA/Dice really do need to re-think this game over. It needs a crap ton of extra content to even make it a BF game at all.

  • I got the gold version and while im also one of those unhappy customers - i wanna see how they update this game because it has potential. Its fairly addictive already even tho its a somewhat painful experience. Luckily i play on a PC and most of the times when the frames drop bad is during a fire fight. Not sure why that is.

I think the biggest lesson I took away from 2042 is that I will not buy the next BF game on launch. This is already bad for EA as i always preordered my fav games. Not anymore. Same goes for anything CDPR releases in teh future. I will not buy it on release. So i think after 60 hours asking for a refund isn't realistic and more likely you will not get one. Just dont buy unfinished EA games next time. They will get the message....

You played 60hrs and want a refund.

Thats no different than going to a movie and watching the whole thing then asking for your money back because YOU think it sucks.

Keep calling psn and do NOT take no for an answer. Don't even let them put you on hold. I called about 15x about this issue but yesterday was the last time because I was out of patience with psn and there stupid responses. They continued to tell me it's an issue through EA and I need to contact EA. However if you bought the game through psn that is a lie and don't except it. Tell psn The game is in direct violation of your consumer rights and was detailed by false advertising.

After wasting hours and hours calling them about 15x in total I finally had an agent with a heart and refunded me the funds.

  • @PremiumDamian Just going to have to eat the loss bud, EA/DICE have zero intent on making this right. Only real thing that can be done is not buying another battlefield title for at least a couple releases.
