I am seeing a lot of people disappointed or scalding the developers who worked endlessly to try and take everyone's thoughts into consideration.-Not everyone wants it to be like BFV or BF3-Not everyone wants it to be like COD-Not Everyone wants it to have Weather MechanicsEVERYONE wants it to be to their liking? If you walked into this game EXCITED that it may be to your expectation then that's your fault.The pure fact of the matter is, GAMES DO EVOLVE and this is a game that will and has so many amazing layers to it compared to other game out there.If you feel that you want to get a refund, get one. No need to complain endlessly about how it does not fit your criteria.I have been playing battlefield since 1942 HOWEVER, I absolutely LOVE to see how this game has evolved into the masterpiece it is.Graphically beautiful, Smart(ish) AI, Weather Mechanics, Thick shrub, Mud on the ground when it rains.We aren't entitled to the world just because we pay $150.

It’s called an echo chamber. Anyone is capable of falling into its trap, I have always called it getting high off of your own crap because you fail to see the forest for the trees. No, but when you steer away from the tenants of what makes Battlefield well Battlefield just for marketing purposes then yes we're allowed to complain. Specialists are as far from Battlefield as we are from the next galaxy. Bush Wookies sitting in a bush with rocket launchers is not Battlefield. Helicopters are way overtuned, or just plain broken. That's a beta for you though. Design philosophy-wise? They've strayed away from what Battlefield Battlefield things that should've never be done. Things like CoD like TTK etc can be fixed. Design choices like Failcialists we're stuck with. Just MO...

@QuvdReplicnt I´m a BF1942 vet myself and I too love too see games evolve.....but as long as the core gameplay that make the series unique stays similar.Evolving is not copying things from other games that Battlefield fans dont want to play.

They take their own decisions, opinions, and in house feedback into consideration, get real. It’s called an echo chamber. Not sure you are looking at my post correctly or seeing the positive side of it. This isn't banter, its me saying look at what is in front of you and accepting it for what it is and knowing there is literally nothing you can do except for:
1. don't play it or
2. enjoy it.

There will always be a very small MINORITY of people who dislike something while a vast majority of people will continue to enjoy it *wink*

I agree to some of those points.
A lot of folks play a Beta and expect a fully polished game. Not even close. They delayed it till November correct? hell I would wait a little longer if I had to. Been playing BF since '42 and the franchise HAS evolved and no it has not been to my liking all of the time but they do have to to stay relevant.

@QuvdReplicnt I've also been playing since 1942, have been around since forumfield. They've some good foundations, there is lots of things I like about BF2042. Movement, gun mechanics, graphics, gameplay feel like an evolution.

The HUD, specialists need work ASAP. Allow us to scale the size of the HUD as a temporary fix Dice. Surely that wouldn't be too difficult to implement for launch. I'd prefer set classes over specialists, would promote teamplay. I understand they're trying to sell skins with specialists, that's still possible with set classes that have a specific role on the Battlefield.

@SyntheticCoyotethe thing with betas these days are that they are basically demos, and not much significant ever changes due to the fact they are released only weeks before a games scheduled drop date. If 2042 is in fact just an old school beta,using an old build, then that is just as worrying seeing as the games is being released next month and there is precious little time to fix/change anything. Baring a bit of graphical polish and UI tweaks, i doubt much will change between now and release day.
