This is just a random video I found on YouTube. You can see how overpowered this is.
- You can just sneak the drone from high ground and tanks won't even be able to aim at it
- Its a spotting drone, so it makes it even easier to even spot tanks and infantry from far away
- When the drone gets shot, nothing happens to the player. But if he gets the kill, then he gets rewarded with xp, multi-kills and vehicle destroyed
- There is no real counter to this from a vehicle driver perspective when this drone is sneaked behind or above you
- Bunch of 5 to 6 defenders (which every single Breakthrough game has) can defend an entire point with this alone
This has to be patched or removed. Its an exploit.
EA admin how do I report an exploit? I would want to report this exploit. Or can this thread be moved to bugs/exploit section of the forum for consideration?
It's not an exploit. No need to remove it.
If you argue you can't do anything against it then shooting in the back has to be removed too.

In its current state, this OP-V-C5 issue is a massively and gamebreaking EXPLOIT as described already. And it does not even happen on a hardcore server.Just putting the word exploit in all caps doesn’t mean anything, you know. A video game exploit is defined as the use of bugs, glitches, or systems to gain an unfair advantage in a manner not intended by the development team.
I, alongside many others I’m sure, have never once had an issue taking out a drone. Furthermore now that the latest update has increased their visibility and hitbox size you should be having even less trouble. So there goes the ‘unfair’ part of the argument.
Furthermore did you ever play battlefield 4 and get mauled by a SUAV? Or blown up by a C4 jeep? Or a MAV targeting some C4 that a friendly had placed in on your vehicle because they were pally with someone on the enemy team? All of these things are not intended use but they all happened and they were all mainstays for better or worse. Most of them were even arguably harder to deal with than Casper’s drone. To state that, after all the shenanigans that used to occur in previous titles, using a recon drone to ferry C4 was ‘unintended by the developers’ is insane.
Battlefield lives and dies on its playerbase’s out-of-the-box thinking, if people didn’t experiment with the sandbox we wouldn’t have C4 launches or rende-zooks. If you want to play a Battlefield where player expression is considered exploitative and should be reigned-in, then you do you, but that is never what Battlefield has been about, it has always been about creativity.
It’s what makes the game so great.

It is not funny anymore, how you guys defend this OP-V-C5 gamebreaking issue. And as mentioned already:
"Earlier this day on Manifest, there were about 8 OP-V's spotted at one location, waiting to insta-kill Tanks. And they did. Tanks were spawned just being killed a few seconds later, just to wait 2 more minutes to spawn a next vehicle/tank...
Please don't tell me, this isn't gamebreaking but a "feature"... ridiculous."And besides that, we talk about (a unfinished) BF2042 with current "gamebreaking" issues and not about any BF predecessors. And especially not BF4.
