entirely remove it. it is beyond human comprehension why i can call in a tank anywhere on the map and more. you said it yourselves its not getting used as intended, so act upon your discovery and remove it. noone asked for it, noone needed it until this title shoved it in as a bandaid fix for mapdesign that i will not describe in any way beyond a sad attempt.the only thing it adds into the game is frustration and cheap BS!

@Psubond i'd say neither does the LATV need a 30/50mm cannon or a grenade launcher, same goes for the Hovercraft....not every vehicle in the game needs easy to use splash DMG weaponry......

They needed a way for soldiers to traverse the massive maps (at release they were much larger) without putting too much stress on the engine/simulation/netcode/client, etc. They couldn't have enough transport vehicles all deployed at spawn without problems, combined with the forced spawn the game had prior to 4.0. This meant a large number of soldiers would be left without a way to get to the first objective without running for several minutes.The intent would be to spread out the transport to stranded squad memebers and they would call those in vehicles to reach the objective. Of course, none of this happened. Instead people just found a way to the nearest building and called in the tank (because FUN). Of course, DICE thinks this is good gameplay for Conquest because it produces cute meme clips and "only in Battlefield" moments.

@ragnarok013 we already have vehicles spawn on the maps (Tuk-Tuk,ATVs normal Pick-ups, etc...) so i am unwilling to take that excuse from DICE we don't need 100 spawned at all times on the map and they could just add more seats to the actual transports and the light transports...you know what they were intended to be but somewhere along the way DICE decided to make every vehicle a purely low skill farming tool....

I truly don't understand why they couldn't have the vehicles spawn at the flag like the other BF games. They could actually do that and then turn the vehicle call-in system into a commander.

@DigitalHype DICE could just have non weaponized transports in that system... not every vehicle needs a 30mm or grenade launcher....

@X-Sunslayer-X Agreed also to stop people waiting for their vehicle to pop up again should be a timer 60 secs and push them back into a game rather than waiting

@DPsx7 i think you misunderstand balancing with nerfing....
is it balanced that people use said call in system to put tanks on rooftops to snipe down or as DICE used to have objectives on said roofs make it impossible to capture said objectives? is that fun for anyone but people abusing features in the game?
is it fun to have a MBT dropped in your backline that you could never anticipate since one player happens to be lying somwhere you couldn't see and then get a Bolte with 30mm cannons spamming your entire teams backline at no cost whatsoever? is that skillbased? yes it is a game and as such it shouldn't cause more frustration then the technical issues already cause... why keep a feature that simply has been proven to cause frustration? its the same argument you have with your crusade for unrestricted specialists, you and likeminded players think its better for the game/franchise, I and other likeminded players belive resrtictions can help balance the game and add readibility
