Revert ammo count change for underbarrel GL/smoke/incendiary (not SPH)

Hi.

This was not listed in the changelog (only for the other grenades and launchers etc), but the ammo count for underbarrel 40mm GL / incendiary / smoke got reduced. Doing this because of 1 "small" map is not really ideal and good gameplay design, it doesnt fit with the other maps which are mostly big.

Only 1 is not suitable for the big maps of Battlefield (versus CoD) and it has never been that low even in the past with Operation Metro / Locker. Thse kinds of maps will always get spam anyways - especially from the much more powerful SPH and XM which are much more useful anyways. Thats what I see now.

We cant even do smart smoke shots and rush forward properly now because of too little ammo, like why?

Revert please.

** EDIT November 16th; **

-> SUGGESTION FOR SHARED AMMO POOL!

Examples if you equip all types:

- Previously you had 3 of each for a total of 9.

- Currently you have 1 of each for a total of 3.

- New suggestion: shared ammo pool of maximum 5 total (or at least 3 shared).

That means if you fire 3 HE, you have only 2 smokes or 2 incendiary left or vice versa.

THAT sounds like a good compromise and good balance, right? Its also similar to previous BF games ie. BC2 had 4 in ammo, BF2 (2005) had 5.

@JWGrasliPlus system just adds to the problems 2042 has, just another thing adding to the chaos and unpredictability. Finding a stable setup especially with how accurate weapons are there is no real need imo to change often. Silencers and ammo types sure, but not everything, weirdly enough you don’t even have an animation to change stuff apart from ammo it’s just instant, that’s not good for a Battlefield game. What’s even the point of the double zoom scopes? Introduced in FPS games just before 2042 came out, 2042 implemented them and also instantly made them kinda irrelevant. Oh wait I know why added them to the game they look great in gameplay trailers, adds depth to the battle.

The strength of a well balanced Battlefield game is never being fully prepared for the situation you are faced with, but that was almost 100% undone when 2042 came out. Hence why the plus system is one of the issues.

I like the idea of the system but it needs a massive overhaul if it returns in a new title, with the focus on making it not as casual to change stuff as it is now.

@doubleome Everyone has access to the Plus system. There is no balance issue or any issues with the Plus system. It's a very good addition to the game and significantly increases the amount of tactics available to everyone. If someone chooses to use up all their Plus slots for UBGLs then it's their choice, they lose access to grips or lasers for that. Nothing in the Plus system changes a gun enough to allow it to function outside of its niche besides maybe the BSV-M.

rest of the irrelevant stuff: Battlefield isn't a milsim game, it's never been realistic. 1942 had jetpacks in it. The animations instantly switching stuff is perfectly "good" for a Battlefield game. Double zoom scopes? Variable zoom? That's been in the games since at least BF2. Or you mean canted iron sights? No idea what you're referring to with "double zoom".

@doubleome Variable/hybrid sights and canted sights have been in games for over a decade. MW3 had them and I'm sure a few games before that had them too. 2011 MW3 had the HAMR (which is also in 2042) and a magnifier. Actually surprised that we do not have a magnifier option in 2042 yet because there are assets for one in the game files. A magnifier would be incredible for a lot of guns that don't have access to the Ghost hybrid.

Still the same with season 7, no change here apart from semi-reverting to only 2 AP grenades we got during a later season 6 update. I still stand by my suggestion of for example a shared ammo pool of 3 in total regardless of the type you use it for, thats a total of 3 compared to the old old total of 9. Or somewhere in between like I said, 5. Its just nerfed too hard right now, I barely see anyone use any underbarrel anymore.

@JWGrasli While I can understand smokes and APs, incendiary grenades are INSANELY strong, and HE ones are very good.

1 incendiary is enough, there should not be more. Fire in 2042 goes through walls and ceilings, which is what makes it so strong. If it didn't, sure, 3, but it does, you can cook people above you.

HEs will for some reason 1shot full HP people on a near miss. And besides that, they're still pretty decent. I think 2 for those would be fine, but having 3 would be too many.
