@Adamonic @Adamonic I have the impression that the "random spread" is now a graphical feature, and that is added to the already "random spread" of the weapons without any compensation.
I currently tested with G428 DMR, RPT-31 LMG, and RM68.
I usually prone and use bi-pod with DMRs and LMGs, and there usability now seems to limited to reduce/negate sway, while aiming, but no longer seem to stabilize the weapons while shooting.
Overall the visuals are very shaky and unstable, so I do understand when you feel dizzy after a while. The only compensation I found is no longer to aim down sights and to default to hip shooting.
Overall the recoil changes don't give the weapons more weight, it just adds up to more chaos on the screen.
But hey, I guess this is what the devs are actually aiming for, a game that is playable when you hip shoot accurately your LMG while jump climbing over a fence, and the moment you actually aim, everything goes to hell.

I think I’ve adjusted to the new recoil.
My advice is to start a Coop/Solo game of Redacted Breakthrough.
Here you have walls to shoot on, thus you can see how you are managing the recoil by looking at the bullet holes in the wall after shooting at it.
Try with different distances, different barrels etc., different guns.
Then test yourself killing AI soldiers with difficulty set to Advanced.
You’ll learn how to manage the recoil of your chosen gun this way.

And then it went live without thorough play testing.
