So whats up with this badge? Why the .... am I the only one reviving people(or so it feels), everyone can revive but most of the time I get ignored, and when I use in-game voice chat(squad) just occasionally people react and revive me.Can we not find a way to punish people for ignoring others that want to be revived?As in something like:When you run past a friendly who is downed more then 3 times, you get a XP decrease per kill all the way to 25 points or perhaps 50 points, this could encourage people to start reviving.When you did not revive at least 5 people in a round you get 50% of the points that you earned.Get a tag to your name for 2 weeks that says, Not a team player, or something like that so they are shamed a bit.This really needs to be addressed as this badge is just sad, I knew the amount of revives badge would come and I expected it to be bad, but i thought it would be around 45% of players or so but not only 23%And for those people who play long range sniper, yes I get it those would not revive people anytime soon, but we should think of something that would not exclude that class as otherwise everyone takes that class so they can ignore people.

When The Finals releases it will have an area for ranked and league play. What this means is there will be a place in the game to go for people that want to use teamwork. A place in the game where this kind of play style is expected from all involved. That is what Battlefield has needed for some time now. Helping your squad and teammates is how Battlefield is supposed to be played. Why would all of these support options be in the game if this were not the case. People from other games have come over here and turned every Battlefield game mode into team death match.

I don't see how this would promote good game play. If they don't res me then they don't. I'm still going to res others no matter what, unless you fell in the line of fire then you are on your own.

I understand the frustration, as a Falak main seeing squadmates run past me is quite a pita. But you can't punish people for not playing their role or even ptfo'ing. That would mean snipers get punished for not spotting, engies for not repairing. assault for not throwing grenades? (I dont know what assault does). At that point we aren't playing BF anymore.

In my mind it could also dissuade people from playing Support since they may think they're being unfairly penalised when other classes won't be. It's also a slippery slope as you'd need to bring in similar systems to penalise, for example, Engineers who don't repair or Recons who don't spot. When I play Support (which is most of the time), I pick up everyone I can, same for picking up my squadmates when I'm playing a different class, but nobody is under any obligation to do the same for me.

Punishing is going to change just as much as rewarding it (which is currently the motivator), Nothing! You can’t force random people to play according to your expectations.As @ElliotLH also described sometimes people die in locations where a revive just is not possible, but instead of respawning they wait out their time or still request a revive even. And it will also not solve the rambo reviving, which is one of my gripes. People reviving you to get the XP, or in your case avoid the penalty, only for you to immediately get shot again because they did not secure the location first but just rush in to get the revive of. Similar I can’t change that behaviour from others.

This has been and always will be an issue in BF. There is nothing you can do to force players to revive, drop health/ammo, etc.
I played a game last night and was ignored by a medic 3m away from me. This guy had zero revives but his k/d was 21-4. He was obviously a Faulk just to heal himself.
It's the way the game is and how ppl choose to play it.

Well i mean that it would be for all classes, specially in tdm as it makes allot of difference if people dont die.

@xVulture Right there with ya. Hell, how many of us have been down calling for a medic when ones literally standing right next to you and you don't get revived. Gotta let it go or it'll drive you crazy

@NL-Chaos man this has been around since the dawn of time. Players not PTFO'ing, not rezzing, not resupplying, not repairing, not spotting, etc. It is a rite of passage to play with half your team not playing correctly.

We should penalize the player that takes a vehicle or aircraft only to use it as a personal vehicle to bail on it once they get to their camp site.

A player should start taking damage if they have been in the spawn for longer than 30 seconds.

@NL-Chaos But not all classes can revive everyone. If you're not playing Support then you can only revive squadmates. Also, how would it account for people who die out in the open where attempting the revive could mean the medic dies too?

If you want to punish one class then all classes would need to be penalised for not playing their role.

@NL-Chaos If i run as medic, i always carry the ammo box to drop and revive as much as possible.

Nothing worse than having medics stand next to you and dont revive or just run past you.

I change who i play depending on the map.

But agree its annoying AF

I mean in the end that system should make it standard for people to help each other out, and after they got use to it it wont be bad for the game or the players.
