Roadmap?
I'm not trying to be a troll but am sincerely curious is a roadmap coming?
I just feel this might relieve a lot of angst in community right now, not all of it naturally but a lot.

Forever bumping this because it's an embarrassment that DICE still doesn't have an industry standard roadmap, even very rough and with very non-specific dates, 4 months post-launch as they're trying to rehab the game and the population is almost dead.
Mind blowing stuff.
I think one of the main reasons why EA leadership is not publishing anything firm as aka a product roadmap is also that it then becomes a legal liability, on top of the borderline stuff they so far have gotten away with.
A couple of the studio execs even themselves referred to getting a revised BF2042 roadmap out, and that was after the disastrous launch 3 months ago!
But its clear that they are not delivering on that either...
Here is the EU legislation to Suppliers/Sellers for consumer protection and the rules that EA/DICE will have to abide by:
____________________________________
Consumer guarantees
When you sell a good or a service to a consumer online or via other means of distance communication (by telephone, mail order) or outside a shop (from a door-to-door salesperson), the consumer has the right to return the item or cancel the service within 14 days. This is sometimes referred to as the cooling-off period or the withdrawal period. No reason or justification has to be given by the consumer.
EU law also stipulates that you must give the consumer a minimum 2-year guarantee (legal guarantee) as a protection against faulty goods, or goods that don't look or work as advertised. In some countries national law may require you to provide longer guarantees.
After-sale responsibilities/faulty products
If the product you sold turns out to be faulty — or doesn't look or work as advertised — within the timeframe of the legal guarantee, you are responsible for this. In some countries this can also be the case if you are the manufacturer or importer.
_____________________________________
And yes, the supplier/seller has then to either replace the faulty product or fully reimburse the consumer, including all expenses related to that transaction...
Notice the last bolded text here above, reason why EA have been borderline and potentially in infringement already. And also why a roadmap will in any case not be clear on what EA/DICE actually then will fix/deliver of content/functionality and when. Because if failing then to deliver as advertised on this would then again be a clear breach of their responsibilities towards the consumer.
If that's the reason, honestly wouldn't it be better for them to just say that.
The thunderous silence from them is friigin crazy.
The lack of engagement and little to no ACTUAL information is so infuriating.
I believe this is our current location on the timeline.
Because we have already crossed this.

LOL, thanks I needed that, I think it sums things up perfectly!
Especially since from looking around on here today the CM's and Dev's have apparently already started their weekend.
Bumping forever because the community deserves better, and deserves more transparency.
Summer is the best roadmap we have I guess?

Hopefully you get a response early next week as we badly need a roadmap, judging by the number o f posts asking for one.
