Rockets to flare ratio

@anhuerta22because you are not alone in the map vs the air vehicle.
I suggest doing a multiplication of the 3 rockets with your max team size

You can also double the final number with just one in the team deploying the loadout crate.

I strongly recommend looking for some additional BF2042 buddies. BF games are a torture when you try to tackle anything at all alone

A limit of 3 flares is a bit harsh, but I agree with the idea that some form of attrition is needed with air vehicles.

I'm not really sure what that limit should be. If I were DICE I'd probably study the flare usage metrics. Figure out how many flares the 90th percentile pilots are using on an average spawn and set the limit there; I'm guessing in the 6-12 range.

The vast majority of pilots would never feel the effects of that nerf, just the unkillable pilots who are the real problem. I believe the current AA balance is reasonably fair against novice to average pilots so I'm generally opposed to anything that would make their lives harder.

In all this I say, each team is collectively responsible for its choices and woes.

If they fail to respond to an airborne or armored threat because they cba to adapt their kit even in 2042 which eliminated class restrictions, it is all on them.

If I decide I want to make a ground vehicle or a helicopter feel the pain, I will do everything I can to that end and I expect everyone who also has a vendetta with a particular vehicle to do the same. If I wanted to never see vehicles in my FPS shooter, I could pick different modes or different games.

Typical engagement between air and infantry………..engage target and get a lock…flares…flares….flares…..flares ….flares…out of range!

@emerson1975that is why I am not pulling the trigger unless I know their flares are on cooldown or I want to shoo them away for a bit.

Just maintaining a lock on places a mental burden on most pilots

@anhuerta22you realize that by even not killing us you are annoying us and preventing us from being able to attack our targets? Even if we flare we need to break off and wait for a refresh or we will be shot down. We can be hacked, attacked by other jets, choppers, stingers, soflam, wildcats. Sraws coming tomorrow. Essentially we have 1 pass to make magic. We can flare that pass, and if we want to risk it we can come in if repairs are up and eat a shot. However were glass. We need the flares. Keep attacking us with stingers and get more to do so on your team. You will prevent us from doing anything.  Were fleeing because you attacked us and we are useless until refresh unless we want to risk ourselves.  Keep using stingers and replenishing them.  As a jet main I will hate you :D

It's extremely sad what they did to vehicles because people are not working together. Partly due to dices poor squad management, creativity, and lack of communication.
