I'd like it better if the scoreboard showed how much further until my next weapon upgrade unlocks.
Then again, I remember the horrible lag BFV's assignment tracking system caused so maybe it's a bad idea.
Ribbons only grant extra EXP bonuses at the end of a match. I find ribbons boring compared to weapon and vehicle unlocks.
I personally liked the one we had and think the new one makes things things way to cluttered now. It makes my eyes bleed when looking at it.
Many of the known issues have been around since BFV.
Scoreboard feedback:
Too much inconsistency with other scoring mechanisms: The score in the scoreboard has nothing to do with your actual score and is computed with arbitrary weights per column. Just list the player's actual XP Score for the round and remove all the weights.
Keep it simple, I don't know how many players care about others' assists or revives, especially on the other team during the round. So to make the remaining columns easier to read, just go with XP Score, K, D, Flags (if you have to) and Ping with the player's rank in parentheses after their names.
Also, allow the scoreboard to be visible on the redeploy screen.
DICE seems to need help, so here's an example. Take this and modernize the art. That's all you need really.

There have been plenty of calls for getting things like revives in there. It's at least as much use as players getting 10000 points for chucking ammo, that about 1% of players need, about.
Let's be honest though the scoreboard looks horrible but just about does it's job which if we're telling the truth is looking at the people above you with slight envy and those bellow with pity wondering how they can be so bad(regardless of how few there are).
When people kept demanding a traditional scoreboard that tracked K/d most unfortunately didn't also realize or emphasize in thier communications that the scoring system would also need to be totally overhauled to give us the real BF experience.
But with the release of this iteration of a scoreboard people seem to be waking up to the fact that the scoring system itself needs to be the foundation of change. The score board will only be successful in reflecting what we're doing in game when the Devs upgrade the ability of the engine to track and reward points for the much larger variety of actions that past installments of the franchise always have.
