Okay, i'm gonna say it.
Dice, i respect (kind of) your work. HOW about you give tools for mapmaking to players and make submmissions contest FOR 2 maps winner per month? For fuzz sakes, you will win time and money, cause it's your game. *i want 0.01% income of that idea*.

WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE DICE, THIS REALLY LOOKS LIKE THE DELAYS ABSOLUTELY RESULTED IN A JAM PACKED UPDATE AND NOT FURTHER DISAPPOINTMENT BECAUSE YOU, DICE, DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SET OR ESTABLISH EXPECTATIONS AND KEEP SHOOTING YOURSELF IN THE FOOT.
Your communication as a studio is still about as bad today as it was when BF2042 launched years ago and your old, now departed, CM was committing to improved communication. Which happened temporarily. But I'm glad that DICE communication is back to the, "We may as well ignore them since we can't trust them." levels of bad.
Great work, DICE. Really showing off how you learn from past mistakes, improve, and why we should be super duper confident in DICE as a studio learning from their many, myriad mistakes in 2042 and not repeating them all in the next BF.
To communicate clearly: That's sarcasm, DICE. I don't think you as a studio have learned anything, or that your company culture allows the studio to learn anything.

This game needs huge maps where vehicles, tactics and freedom can breathe. No confined, linear small maps where the out of bounds is everywhere (*cough* Spearhead *cough* Reclaimed *cough*)
If the playability of the new map is anything like ‘Grand Bazaar’ I’ll enjoy it plenty.
On scarcity of new offers: I am sure at this stage EA is not paying DICE for out of the ordinary developments. We should be grateful instead that DICE did not just drop development as they did on ‘BFV’ when they just walked away after the ‘Pacific’.
This game is beyond expiry date and DICE is still supporting it—with few human resources but still, better than nothing. We ought to dampen our expectations for more.

Alternatively, DICE could actually be honest and clear with communications and not tell us "two new maps are coming" when it's one new map coming, and a second updated part of an older map shipping 1-2 months post-launch.
As always, it comes down to DICE being awful at communication and consistently being vague while overselling and overhyping content. Then they act like victims that players are critical of the disappointing reality not being what DICE dishonestly promoted and somehow we're all the real problem, not DICE who are the literal ones setting expectations. 3 weapons for as long as we waited stinks. Toss 3 new portal weapons into AOW during the midseason update and Ill pull back.
