Season 7 "Maps" - Discussion
What kind of "maps" does everyone want to see in season 7? We are getting two, so I imagine one will at least be infantry only again. In reality we should be getting four maps. But, that's another t...
Hoping for an Urban map here but will take just about anything.
Hoping for a true urban map as well. As posted before in other threads, a map in the spirit of Seine Crossing, Rotterdam/Devastation, Amiens would make me happy. Or otherwise a true jungle/forrest map would be nice as well!
My guess still is we will see the Hourglass stadium back as a standalone infantry only map as one of the 2 new maps
Very well said. I fully agree.

I think that's a good guess given how many people still mention the stadium.

Since I mainly play Breakthrough I rarely went in there. However, it could make for an interesting small bonus map.

Mackay really changes the dynamics for all the maps you listed (which are all awesome). Previously you could be in a 2nd story window and not have to worry about an enemy popping up into a window from the ground level. Mackay and Sundance really took away some components of the strategies that make it Battlefield.
In future BFs, I really hope they get away from the movement gadgets/perks.
Argonne Forest was also a decent map.

Yes agreed that current physics of especially Mackay and Sundance would more or less break these maps.
I’m hoping with you that in the next title it’s back to BF roots without specialists and their gadgets and traits.
Argonne Forest is another great example of how to do an infantry only map. A re-imagination of that without that stupid train would definitely get my vote!

I had a lot of fun on Argonne Forest
