Season pass question....how to buy?
Hi folks.
Just pulled the game through steam sale. And i'm very confused about season pass.
So some questions i hope someone can answer here.
- How do you check how much a season pass costs or how do you buy it?
- Is there even a way to buy the Season 4 season pass on it's own, without having to buy the Year 1 pass?
- If you buy the year one pass now, with the 4th season, isn't that a waste of money? Is freaking expensive and you miss out on all the unlocks from prev. seasons. Or am I wrong?
- What's the difference between the 2 packs on Steam?
a) Ultimate edition
b) Year 1 pass + Ultimate pack
It is strange that the Ultimate edition contains the Year 1 pass already according to store page. And is 2x the cost (if not on sale), but if so, why does the "Year 1 pass + Ultimate pack" explicitly state the content "Ultimate pack"? Isn't that the same as "Ultimate Edition"?

How to upgrade to the Premium Battle Pass?
You can upgrade to the Premium Battle Pass in four ways:
- Upgrade to the Gold or Ultimate Edition of Battlefield 2042
- Purchase it from the Battle Pass menu
- Purchase it from the in-game Store.
- Join EA Play Pro.
Is there a way to buy the Premium Season 4 Battle Pass on its own, without having to buy the Year 1 Pass?
Yes, please check the Battle Pass menu or the in-game Store for the options.
If you buy the Year 1 Pass now to get the 4th Premium Battle Pass for the 4th (this) Season, does it also give you the Premium Battle Pass rewards of the previous Seasons?
No, unfortunately, it doesn't work like that.
What's the difference between the Ultimate Edition and the Year 1 Pass + Ultimate Pack bundle on Steam?
It doesn't look like this bundle includes the main game, but only the Year 1 Pass + Ultimate Pack. It also says on Steam that these are DLC items only.
