EA seems to be gearing up to lure in the crowds that make other FPS games cash in heaps of gold in hopes on getting their share, and are adapting the game to satisfy that crowd.This is upsetting The BF community and the BF "old-timers"/Veterans, many of who want the game to be like the previous titles in one way or the other.So in BF2042, will the Veterans become like "standard skin level bosses" to all the newcomers?Or is there any interest to buy in-game customization for real money also among the people here (that have not already decided that they want no part of "all out warfare")?Most of the popular cash cows are free to play, BF2042 is not - how does that play into this in your opinion?

I would pay maybe .99 cents for a Patrick Swayze " roadhouse" take down.I posted that somewhere in the abyss of the forums months agoI never heard back.....

No, if you can earn in-game credits or something to buy stuff like in BFV I will buy those.
But not if I have to use real money.

I am sure there are players who are completely OK to spend money on purchasing a triple-A shooter game license and still also OK and want to spend even additional money on various skins in it.
Personally I will not myself.
No payment for any skins and no pay-to-win either.
Not happy either for the never-ending pay-to-play scheme EA considers...

No, definitely not.
I'd expect they would include them in their various battle pass seasons, rather than outright sell, but I could be totally wrong on that. As long as the skins don't confer any ridiculous advantages, then I'm happy for people to do as they like.

Depends on how much they are.
One thing to bare in mind that a lot seem to forget.....
Live service and Micro transactions are a direct replacement for Premium/paid DLC, I wonder how many of those that whinge about paying for skins and cash grabs also wanted rid of Premium/paid DLC.
In order to continue development, DICE need a post launch revenue stream and without the above being supported, the game may lose support prematurely.
Think about it.....

I've never bought cosmetic skins in any computer game, and I wouldn't buy/play a pay to win game.

It depends on how much I play the game.
If this can truly live up to how much I played BF2 or BF3 then I'd have no problem spending more on the game looking apart.

I personally rather earn/ unlock stuffs, but it doesn't bother me if other skins are for sale that is dependent on what they are ( clowns, zombies type things ) I don't want to see though
there is most likely gonna be one main look I'd go w anyhow, I do like face paints / helmets again just nothing ridiculous.
probably not buy any myself, I mean if it something that is pretty sweet to me maaaaybee, just not likely and I don't want to needlessly throw money away, buying the game so prefer unlocking.

I never purchased anything in BFV with "Boins" as I just don't agree with mtx in general but I also paid full price for the game itself and am kind of a cheap son of a gun - I was able to work out a deal with BF2042 so I'm willing to buy a few melee animations and possibly a skin I REALLY enjoy. 1-5$ blue dot sights? *shakes head*, no

@Trokey66 This right here is the one single reason the game and the franchise is where it is, because people didn't want to pay for premium, every single thing wrong with this game is because premium went away.
