so DICE/EA will this game be abandoned ?
just like you pulled the plug on BFV? just curious what the long term goal is since it is bsaically a step by step repeat of BFV.....

I thought the launch maps of BFV were bad, but BF2042 takes things to a whole new (bad) level.

Bfv launch maps were sick, you probably have a gaming chair from the 90s too

Agree they were awful. Running in circles 24/7 on small maps.
Maps got way better with the pacific.

IMO, only Arras and Devastation provided great experiences for infantry, others were dominated by vehicles and/or snipers with long sightlines and great vantage points.

I quite liked Rotterdam, Devastation, Narvik and Arras. Compared to 20-42 fps maps the are masterpieces.

Panzer Storm was admittedly(by DICE) sorely lacking when initially released.
As with every 2042 map, Panzer Storm lacked cover for infantry. The map also lacked a proper number of transport for infantry throughout the map.
DICE added a ton more cover throughout the map as well as numerous transports at every objective which turned Pz Storm into one of the best maps of the game and perhaps the franchise.

Fjell was love/hate and didn’t need aircraft at all. That would have been an amazing infantry only experience and the planes ruined it for me and most of my friends.
Narvik suffered from lack of small transports for infantry and turned into a spawn camp about half of the time as a result of the lack of transport.
