This guy reply on gamespot LOL!! COD being "FUN"
GamerBum
As good as this Battlefield looks I won’t be paying $70 for it. Not worth it in my opinion. Never really thought the gunplay in Battlefield games was that good. Definitely not as fun as COD or Halo.- ElliotLH5 years agoHero+
Pretty sure this was the case with BFV too. I seem to remember seeing Xbox branding on the posters and so on.
- OskooI_0075 years agoSeasoned AceDICE and EA announced four other partnerships in preparation for Battlefield 2042's October release: Nvidia (for the "ultimate PC experience"), Logitech (to "ensure players have Logitech integration"), Polaris (to "bring players the opportunity to operate authentic Polaris vehicles in Battlefield 2042"), and WD_BLACK (to ensure "gamers have the best possible gaming experience").Interesting. I guess this means each company is helping to integrate their products into Battlefield.Nvidia will probably help integrate Ray Tracing, DLSS, and Reflex low latency mode. Just to name a fewI can see Microsoft sending somebody over to help make sure Battlefield runs great on Xbox's DirectX API, because it's pretty complicated to work with due to the wide array of hardware it has to run across in the PC space. We've seen settings for Logitech headphones in BF1's audio menu, but I'm also hoping for Logitech mouse support on Xbox too. 😉I'm guessing Polaris is allowing them to use their branding and likeness on some of the vehicles in Battlefield. So when you climb onto a Polaris ATV, the handlebars and rest of the vehicle looks exactly like a Polaris ATV. I imagine Polaris wants all the kids asking their parents for Polaris ATVs on their birthday after playing Battlefield 2042. 😁The Western Digital Black one has me a little stumped though. DICE might be using some of their SSD drives to set an acceptable baseline performance level, and using that to compare the performance of other SSD drives againts. In return for advertising their product, Western Digital is probably supplying DICE with SSDs to use in testing.Sounds good! But I wish DICE would integrate Sony's Tempest 3D audio into Battlefield. Then maybe sounds would stop cutting out and battery powered stealth tanks would stop sneaking up on us. I checked the PlayStation 5 store page, but saw no mention of DualSense haptic vibration or Tempest 3D audio support in Battlefield. ☹️

What a refreshing post to read - Thanks!
Mind if I set it to some heartening military music?
If it plays like it reads like we'll have a Hit Single .
:P - carsono3115 years agoSeasoned Ace@2042onthemove Those partnerships are interesting...
I am assuming they are not mutually exclusive either, since EA + Frostbite are also partnered with AMD's FSR development... I just hope it all leads to the best Battlefield game possible! This makes me feel more confident as a series s owner that the game will run well on the system.
I can not get a series x or ps5 anywhere so this is the only way to get the 128 players experience for me.
DICE has no other chance to make Frostbite run good on AMD, since AMD is PS5 and XBOX.
- @BURGERKRIEG same here. If you haven't ill recommended change the thermal paste on those series s. On mine the graphics started to glitch and started to random turn off( No warranty). After few research the factory thermal paste is trash and console get extremely hot so i change it with Thermal paste MX4. Problem fix, console get warm thats normal.
- @ElliotLH It might have been. COD partnered up with Sony on PS4, so Xbox went and partnered with Battlefield.
- GRiPSViGiL5 years agoSeasoned Ace@DiceUprise LOL. Gunplay in in BF destroys COD. BFV has really great gunplay. Best of all the BFs since BFBC2. I expect 2042 to improve upon BFV gunplay.
