So long and thanks for all BF2042 fish
As we come to an end of this release I thought I'd drop a few lines about the experience...
Mostly it sucked: Terrible rollout, terrible middle expansion, terrible GFX optimisation. I felt only the last 6 months you really got the act together with regards to a smooth game.
Most of the maps were big, and that is about all I can say about them. The only map I actually liked was Redacted (whoever thought that one up should get a pat on the head) as it carried a dab of the old BF Metro\ Locker spirit.
Way too many ludicrous weapons and gadgets.
Cheaters still cheat, so nothing new there, but I think you tried. I hope BF6 is way better at spotting them.
