So quickscope is gone? Why?
The only annoying thing with snipers is the camping ones, why the * did they remove quick scoping in close quarter? Been playing with my friends since Bad company 2, but now this franchise is dead ...

@CountSero No, they nerfed SWS-10 so it doesn't 1-shot kill to the body in CQC.
It was getting abused by quite alot of people because it was very easy. Short barrel + close combat ammo and you can go challenge shotgun users

Snipers have absolutely no aim assist when using sniper rifles. It just doesn't exist with sniper weapons at all. With the other weapons, I do think it helps with headshot accuracy and bullet spread, but not sniper rifles as the hit box is tiny compared to all other weapons when using a controller.
That said, for some odd reason, Dice continues to nerf the snipers just like was done in other games such as Halo, Fortnite, ect...developers don't like players getting kills with sniper rifles, not sure why but the snipers get nerfed in most of the popular games over time...
Dice even went as far to nerf the NTW-50 cal sniper for the third time, which is odd as you don't see players asking to BUFF the gun, not nerf it in the fourms.
Per Dice Season three changes:
- Body Shot range reduced for NTW-50 from 150m to 100m
So now the NTW-50, which shoots a bullet 5 miles in real life, is a short to medium range gun in BF 2042???

I am not a run and gun sort of player. Never have been and never will be. I dont turn the tide of a round or any round by my gameplay. I get a few kills get killed a lot and yet still played the game because it was giving me what I wanted out of the game until......
I loved the NTW. It got nerfed to the point that I couldnt play my concealed and somewhat distanced style of play. Now I had to be close enough that I could practically shake hands with my intended target. If I got a shot off I was lucky and truly blessed if I got a hit and a kill. In the meantime, I knew that if I missed I was dead and looking even more stupid than usual. The opposition no longer fears me as they can see my glint in the distance and can safely ignore me. Now that snipers have to be tucked into the pocket of their target the fun has really been sucked out along with any sort or semblance of realism.
Dice. Just remove the rifle and be done with it. Force everyone to use the same run and gun weaponry, force all players to compete in the arena of CQC. Dont allow for any sort of variety or that disdained death from a distance as we know that the vast majority of the aim assist players cant and wont stand for being killed by a stationary and "camping" lowlife. Battlefield 2042 has shown that they will only cater to those that subscribe to complete mayhem in a small area that only allows for mega kills from non-tactical, unrealistic bunny play.
Could be the reason that I gave up on this game a long time ago with only the odd visit to confirm that this game is still circling the the porcelain bowl.
