So what's next ?

Are you guys going to make this game something fun like the older titles or you just gonna deliver year one then dumb it? Do you know that if you don't give people the value they spent on this game they won't buy your next game right? Like seriously even if you make a bad company 3 you won't find any pre orders and people will wait until the reviews and even then they won't trust your content creators. Do what the people ask for remove those weirdos and make them characters that people will choose in classes with no abilities.

They're already full steam ahead on the next BF game, they already took your money. 2042 is currently being supported by a skeleton crew.

We are not going to buy it since you slapped your customers on the face with 42, either change the entire of 42 and support it for at least 3 years or cancel the whole franchise and don't waste your time, move to work on something else like need for speed or something while I doubt you'll be even able to make a car seat correctly

@Kona_uk Unrelated. That just saves them boatloads on licensing fees, though I'm not sure if that means they can't use the likeness of players etc.

If i was EA i would offer a discount who pre ordered 2042 on next BF for lying.
Also state not having more than one season which will be very poor at best.
So to make up season one on next game will be free to those who purchased gold or above on BF2042 to say sorry.

@G-Recons This is how they want bf to go player cards etc pay to win is coming to BF for us calling them out on 2042.
EA are fuming at lost mt sales by the weak willed.

@Kona_uk not even that , free and even with that I'd be hesitant to download, 70GB is 1usd too much for a game like 42

I'm not sure Dice fully appreciate the depth of ill feeling towards 2042 in the community.
It's not just another, business as usual, bad launch of a battlefield game. I detect a sense where seeing that as business as usual is an idea that many have lost patience for.
The many missing core features, and the glacial pace of restoring them, don't give anyone faith that the next game will be any better.
How could it?
Taking two goes to get the scoreboard right does not give the impression of a competent studio, hurrying to meet its customers expectations.
We are told lessons have been learned.
But words are cheap and, sadly, Dices doesn't carry any weight anymore.
Lets see some action. Some urgency to meet the reasonable demands of your customers.
As opposed to....*waves at how fast things are happening now*...whatever this is.
