Stat-padding servers in Portal, and no leaderboards. Why?

Every time I check out the servers in Portal, I see players hosting no-kill servers just flying around in choppers farming 50k XP points per game. I thought I would do some community service and report those servers, but there is no option to report for cheating. This seems off and fosters cheating.

I also noticed this game still has no leaderboards. At least a leaderboard that compares with friends or even your regional players would be great, if not global. Nothing wrong with fostering a bit of competitive spirit in FPS games, eh DICE?

I also noticed even Infinity Ward held back stats and leaderboards from MW2. This just feels like a wrong trend by these big publishers. I understand making it a friendly environment for casual players, but don't just outright remove all competitive aspects of the game.

Who cares if people get faster exp in portal.  Levels mean nothing in battlefield, they NEVER did

@Paramveer9 We still have a developer, that decided not to implement a shooting range or vehicle training area. The argument was, you can do that in portal.
If people create experiences to create training grounds where people can interact, it is also wrong?
It isn't that XP are of any real value. Unless you count reaching the Silly Levels, or unlocking season tiers "of value".
