But EA obviously built this game to be everything else but a battlefield game...!
All game architecture appear to be designed around making HazardZone the squad-based BR-mode cash cow for EA, then they obviously considered that 4 soldiers was the right-sized squad for their R6S Specialists and the skins you are to pay for, to make them all look different.
That we now are force-fed a Tarkov/Hunt showdown with 4-person squads is maybe OK.
EA, go ahead and make it.
But don't call it battlefield!

But you appear a bit off then compared to what I wrote myself...
I am totally onto Portal, absolutely! I even repeatedly praise that as the only thing truly still potentially giving us a classic BF experience in this next game... (yes, I did not like BF1 or BFV much either, but most of all previously, absolutely)
But I wrote that we are force-fed the 4-man squad size! That is a fact. And that is coming from EA's primary drive on the Hazard Zone cash-cow setup, uniquely and entirely with Specialists! Like it or not, its force-fed upon us. That was the subject for this thread, the squad size.
So yeah, as you say, we can skip Hazard Zone. Great.
But we are still force-fed the 4-man squads.
