The bots are useless, though.
Good human medics, those who are playing the game as an multiplayer instead of single player, will actually try to revive you even if the spot's a bit sketchy. Where as the AI medics will just stand on the open trying to shoot that one enemy sitting behind cover ~20 meters away instead of going prone and reviving you. Because the "spot is not safe for reviving".
Maybe I've been extra blessed with team mates who have any common sense, but I swear I've ended up dying more often because of the stupid AI medics not reviving, than the actual human medics..
Also yeah, they do shoot the drones but for the past few matches I've been which were 20v20 on the Rush XL, so the rest were bots, all the AI soldiers were Engineers and they tried to take the drones out with M5's.... I was playing Valparaiso and the AI just gathered into groups of five and fired rockets into the sky trying to hit the drones.
So very helpful don't you think..
PS. If you still are wondering how anyone could end up into a bot match outside of Portal: Matchmaking has had difficulties for a long time. Just google it up, you'll find plenty of people complaining about it since last year. I've suffered from it since season 4, so a relatively short time. Once in about every three days I can't find full lobbies at all. Most I ever find (with playing over three hours) have maybe 45 people in them on 64 mode. Then the other days I have no issues connecting with people, while nothing has changed. My connection has been the same all the time, I have had cross-play enabled all the time, NAT-type has not changed on it's own. I haven't managed to find any reasonable explanation for it. Trying to google it all I get is "you have to turn cross-play on" but it is on constantly. So I have no clue. Also because of this new players have a hard time connecting into the on-going matches on Breakthrough and Rush, so if the match goes on long enough on certain days you always end up playing against some bots even if the match was full when you started.
