Ok for the sake of my sanity .. Stop reashing the past as if the classes limitation of past BF was a good thing .. it was not and also BF4 classes were terrible and didnt give any ways to know what players were capable of ..

In 2042 angel always have amo 100% , Falk always have healing 100%

And stop pretending as if BF was sitting in a good place ... Most BF games were barely played by anyones before the Hype of 2042 ... And cant compare its popularity to CS go , Rainbowsix siege , COD warzone , or even the kid game Fortnite ..

DICE have made Portal for peoples like you who dont want the franchise to evolve and seek to have the same remashed mechanics and stuff with updated graphics ...

Portal support classes and support " players made classes " SO if you want your " ideas " to be a thing create a portal mode yourself .. and show how popular it would be .. then it might become a " official " mode that offer XP ..

But until then the base experience shouldnt be totally mess up by peoples who think they are vets .. I am as " vets " as vet could be when it come to BF ... playing since 1942 yet i dislike classes system that make no sens and BF classes made no sens and didnt improve or balance gameplay ..

I much prefer the system we have now ..

1 Gadjets is lock to the classes wich create predictability then all weapons and other gadjets can be equipped and use in a manners that iu suiting the terrain your squad fight on .. and you can equip gadjet that will be usefull for your squad mission at this particular time ..

I am getting truely tired of all this closed mind copy and paste past BF mentality ,,,

@Stew360Class limitation is a good thing as BF basic game mechanic, and always been (it seems you've played from BF4 only, right?). You battle role was clearly defined. As for BF 2042 the operative Specialists system more variable, but gives nothing for the team play and the main objective of battle. Add here a non-availability of team voice chat and you"ll  have that circus on battlefield, what we have right now. Class system will not break Specialist System, but make the game more tactical and role oriented. Peace man, and may the force be with you!

    Ok so in all honesty you will dare to say to me that while playing BF2042 you dont see all sort of weapons similar to previous BF games ? I see about the same numbers of Ars , Smgs , LMGs , Snipers , Shotguns etc.. as ive seen in other BF base on hundreads of matches .. wich 90+ full games are on my chanel lol So its not just pretention there is proofs ..

    Peoples can use the gadjet they need and specialist require to do the job done based on different squads goals and terrain ... its more adaptative and better ... Pretending otherwise is very intelectually dishonest to say the least ..

    Past classes are rubish old designs full of flaws and issues .. And BF4 for exemple was less predictable and encouraged more solo play than BF2042 ever.. so yeah

" - so that's why the overal online today less than 5000 players? Because of new unique and popular mechanics, wich give us an amazing Battlefield experience?

        @RazumConcurent players on steam isnt total players its players conected at the same time origin have as much if not more so is epicgame store , ps4 , ps5 , xbone , xbox series ..even if its like 40k or 50k concurent players that mean near half a millions individual players . not amasing but still not that bad ... the average players play about 2 hours at most per day acording to studys .. And most poeoples play different game throughout the week like Apex one day siege another , SOT  Bf2042 ,  squad , tarkov , star citizen alpha , Valheim  and so on ..

        So stop bringing BF2042 concurent players wich is players conected at the same time wich the game isnt exclusive to steam its on 4 multiplayer platform Xbox App PC EA desktop integration , Steam , Origin , Epicgamestore , Ps store xbox store ..

        So yeah statistic dosnt go the way you want them to just " because "
