I'm kinda glad to be honest. Every game I play I get melted by that stupid spam-sniper from stupid distances. Use something else. I'm sure the complainers will make DICE turn it into another laser beam soon.

Basically every single PCer uses it; i'm not really surprised it received a bit of a nerf
I actually thought it had gotten nerfed in the previous patch. Pretty sure it was in the patchnotes back then.
Can't say that I noticed any difference the few times I tried it after that though, so im fine with it getting nerfed. It was the most overpowered gun in the entire game and has been since day 1. The PP29 was never as OP as the SVK.It was a two-hit canon, which I loved btw. But I think that is why!
You could have the second shot in the air before the 1st shot hit lol....
- @JediMastaWyn Exactly.
It was way to easy to just do a quick double tap, and by the time the enemy got hit by the first one and realised someone had them in their sights the second bullet would have already hit them. I played some round since patch and I also used the SVK to test it
in my opinion they didn't really nerf the SVK it is still a two shot kill weapon and related to the in-game stats one shot still does 75 damage with high power ammunition
they only thing that they did there is much more recoil now, to up\left, which feels a little bit strange to, I’m more used to up right (but I think I need only some time to get used to it)
this means you need a little bit more time between the shots to get into the target but still a kiler weapon
So, it is more a balance thing than a nerf
See you on the Battlefield
- @TTZ_Dipsy Erm nope…..I hardly ever die to Svk users but certainly do to the ridiculously easy sniper rifles
Glad they nerfed the gun it should at least be 3 shots to kill with better accuracy instead of 2 shots which is broken.
I had a chance to try the SVK now on Rush and I really don't see any problem. I managed to get all the 30 kills for the "weekly challenge" in one game.
It's still a 2 shot kill with high power ammo. The only difference as far as I could tell was that they added horizontal recoil, but it really wasn't anything that got in the way of using it the same way as before.
