Thank you for PondHawk mode - it proves that aim assist is waaaaay overpowered

One thing that the Pndhawk mode has proven is that aim assist, and snap aim is way overpowered, and needs to be nerfed.   As a long time BF player, it is blatantly obvious that you sold us out to get more people lining your pockets.

At first, it was a theory, getting constantly headshot from a sniper a mile away.  A few times, sure.  But every single time?  Highly unlikely.   But, the new Pondhawk mode made everyone use handguns.  This, beyond any shadow of a doubt has proven that the aim assist/snap aim is way overpowered.

As PC non-gamepad players, we are manually aiming.  This means that while moving we either have to move the mouse, or do some other adjustments while in a gunfight.   When you have the jump on an enemy, they simply turn immediately, don't have to aim due to aim assist, and one shot you.   I understand the gamepad is not as precise, but the reality is that having the gun automatically aim at an enemy you don't even see is simply ridiculous.  Pondhawk mode made this so obvious that every game you hear some PC player complaining about it.

To put this in perspective, as PC gamers, we have dealt with aim assist, known as aimbot, as well as other hacks for years.  The PC community has reported these people, and they have been banned, as well they should be.   But now, you've actually put it into the game, just to satisfy your bottom line.

We either have 2 options: Change the way we play (keyboard and mouse) and get a gamepad to play with AI assistance, or stick to our guns and look for another game to satisfy our Battlefield itch.

As a test, I created a portal server and disabled aim assist and snap aiming.   I didn't filter it only to PC players.   In the 2 rounds that we played, there were well over 40 console players that joined.  With the exception of one, yes one, they all complained and left the server.   I have all the respect for the one person who played the whole round.

It just feels like the people who have been loyal to the brand have been left behind.
