I gave in and joined the meta. It's definitely the best gun in a Battlefield game EVER.

I wouldn't actually call it absolute best but it is super strong and IMO most versatile out of all. close range, mid range, long range - all covered in one gun. 2-3 taps with subsonic on top of that is just makes it better choice. I joined the T1 club with this one already because I know DICE going to nerf it.

I hate it and I hope it gets nerfed.
But I also am having fun using it. Just aim and spray

I personally can't understand why there is so much hate towards players using the best weapons. Why not use the AEK or M16A3 in BF3, or say the Type 2A in BF5 or the K30/AS VAL in BF2042. They are in the game and are the best weapons now.
There will always be a 'best' weapon. If all were exactly equal, there would be no real point other than optics to select one over the other.
If you don't want to put yourself at a disadvantage on purpose, don't complain. Come over to the dark side and just use the best weapons.
I got my longest kill streak (went 23:0 until I got too aggressive which got me killed -- at least this is the longest streak I can remember) on Valparaiso pushing objectives rather aggressively with the AS VAL. Of course, much came down to luck, but I have an overall K/D of around 2, so this is really an exception for me. But I could manage this -- even with the atrociously bad hitreg, thanks to the AS VAL. LOL thanks I needed that this morning, lol.
Although this is meant to be a marksman rifle, it is mostly if not only being used as an smg at close range, which is only due to the rate of fire upgrade from one of the magazine attachments providing also a larger mag, which is hilariously obvious if you compare how the BSV fires when it has the standard mag and the extended.
In my view, the extended mag attachment should be removed or exchanged for a different attachment, or, the rate of fire upgrade that comes with the attachment should be removed. This would then possibly put the weapon back into its actual class of weapons, marks-man-rifles.
Anyone who doesn't agree is wrong.
@LancySchemerActually it is the short barrel with extended / Highpower ammunition that makes this weapon hilariously op, you don’t even need the CQ ammo.
First of all they should remove the full auto function, remove the short barrel, lower the rpm on Highpower ammo and all is fine.- GrizzGolf3 years agoSeasoned Ace
