The Colonel 100 as a rare super-bot?

I get the idea of making this happen... But don´t you guys believe the bots ingame are going to be dumb, senseless dummies...

How will the devs ever be able to programm the bots to have a slight sense of useful AI. 

Titanfall2 has both enemy and friendly bots in lobbies and it takes like litterly 2.5 seconds to shred through a group of 6 enemy bots...

@DeeCay_DK_81Yes, I do think they will be challenging to some degree... I am quite confident some bots are going to be hacklords and some will be dumb as rocks till it is fine-tuned.

I would certainly prefer a happy medium, but I understand some people are going to whine and winge when a bot kills them... so yeah.

How about he can only be stopped by the lowest ranked player? That'd tie in to Neebs killing him quite nicely.

@FringerunnerYES. Something along these lines is exactly what I was thinking.

I like that it requires having watched the series in order to understand why that is a "special" way to kill him. No spoilers, no hints, just have to have that knowledge and try it out on him... great idea.

@ElliotLH  I like that angle as well... man, that would be tough to figure out.  Although, some of these Easter Egg hunters we have... who knows?

I find the whole idea totally stupid.

One thing is bots/AI to fill out the server, but "specialists" - "special bots"  ... the whole idea makes it look more like a gimmick than a good fps.

Only classes ingame should be the ones players can select being the "normal" classes we had in previous BF's - the AI's should be the same with same choice of gear.

I think that the Colonel can be implemented without being a game breaker for other players that are not so much buying into the BF history and the classic Battle Field Friends characters/storylines.  (yes, it also takes some self irony and humor)

Much like we had the Megalodon on Paracel Storm.  Hundred of thousands of players have been on that map without ever seeing it once.  Still goto a BF4 Paracel Storm server just for that Megalodon Easter Egg and you will see friends and foes alike cramming together on top of the windmill to get zapped by the lightning.  And right after again, all boating/parachuting into the island where the Megalodon would arrive shortly after...

You also had BFF Neebs joining the fun when we solved the LA Camo Easter Egg.  "Promoted!"  🙂

Again, just a subset of all players doing it...  

So why not allow the developers and other gamers to have that extra fun and make the game diverse and inspiring in all the ways it can be, as it can easily be done without negatively impacting other players not much buying into Easter Eggs/BFF!
