Anti-air needs an overhaul. It's simply not a fun playstyle.
The lack of AA isn't a 'skill' issue anymore than people not distributing ammo is a 'skill' issue. People don't do these things since we play games for entertainment, not to do digital chores.
I'd like to see a reliable chunk damage solution - dumbfire stinger with proxy detonation perhaps.

Lately the Night Bird has started to * me off, even though I used to love flying on it. As soon as DICE completed the attack helicopter, lately I only take it.
In a word - the Night Bird breaks all the harmony of aviation.
Its small hitbox plus maneuverability does not allow it to be dealt with adequately in a head-on collision. The Night Bird has a strong dominance over infantry and aviation, and work definitely needs to be done with it to reduce its attractiveness. The Night Bird should not be stronger than a shock combat unit; its task is to support, and not to turn the tide of combat operations. In update 6.2 they mentioned that they had improved the hit rate, but in reality it was only the visual effects of a hit that appeared, and their registration took place after 2 or after 1.
You tell me he only needs 2 hits with 127 mm Zuni, I will laugh at you as you work to hit him with 127 mm. He will receive damage from 1, will be healed, and while you are suffering to hit him a second time, his health regeneration will already start and as a result you will need to do 2 more hits. A good or average pilot will cut you into cogs with miniguns while you are trying to hit him. - MackTKau2 years agoRising Ace

We had that in BFV with the Fliegerfaust.
Didn't stop air mains whining about it being an "unskilled noob weapons" and wanting it nerfed until it was useless, because getting killed twice in a round was just too much nerf nerf nerf. Just like they complain about every other AA weapon being an "unskilled noob weapon".
Air mains cry so much about anti-air weapons that in BF4 they would waste money renting their own servers just so they could ban anyone who had the nerve to use the anti-air weapons. "No igla/stinger fast vehicle spawn" and if you took 'their' helo or jet, or shot them down no matter how you did it, they'd kick/ban.
Air mains just want to farm infantry like it's a singleplayer game with no chance of being hit, let alone shot down and killed.

Answer my question. Why the weakest heli in the game triggers you the most?
