@SleepyWeasel68 I feel ya, it’s not fun to be accused of something you’re not doing. I don’t know what aim assist does, I do know that since the last patch I die to consoles more than I used to. We also see way worse desync and lag issues. So is aim assist basically an aimbot? Or is that console player have a higher ping than me so his bullets hit me as a packet rather than as they actually fired. My point is we don’t know. I have a feeling that if they fixed the darn game we’d see that aim assist isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Hell just having aim assist when mouse input is broken is not fair to anyone either. Players are way too fast to point the fingers at each other and not at Dice, where the issue lies.
@ATFGunr PC players blaming console Aim Assist as being the be-all-end-all of good gaming is beyond parody. The litmus test is (short of buying one) is head on to a friend with a console and then play a few matches. I hear you that some PCs are feeling like they're being downed more often these days by consoles. Correlation is not causation. As I'd said before, there are other issues at play here.
I came in this topic expecting to see exaggerations on both sides and I was not disappointed.
the fact you PC guys are looking at HS percentages proves you have no idea how AA works.

for every stat the PC guys find proving their point, the console guys do the same.

Finding the balance on that. It’s an interesting thing, because I wish it was a linear spectrum. You can see that a very highly skilled player on mouse and keyboard is fantastic compared to controller. Everybody else on a mouse and keyboard seems to be at a disadvantage statistically, is what we see.
