The stealth choppers needs be changed !

Hi

ok something is totally wrong with the stealth choppers. Me with stinger - stealth choppers shoots out flares - no lock - I get that - I wait - get lock shoot and chopper changes to stealth mode - ok ?

Getting annoyed by him - switch to Rao with soflam. Hack chopper and gets soflam on him - and guess what - he shoots out flares ???? WTF. Hack is useless if chopper just works as if nothing happened. So only way to get this stealth chopper is tank shot, TV guided missiile or recoils ?

Flares in this game has way way too much power. You manage to get tracer dart on chopper - no matter javelin, stinger or recoils - flare win. Soflam on chopper - flare wins. Reload time of chopper flares way too low.

So Rao + soflam ? Why use it - why take the risk to hack something when it is useless ! Soflam is effective as spotting - but mark choppers - waste of time.

Yesterday - out of 3 javelin shots on tank - only 1 hit. First one this protective shield blinking green or what it is - fooled first one - next time it was smoke. Lets not forget the time it takes to make the lock / shot and during this time you are exposed for snipers and what else. When you manage to hit - the damage is higher than recoils as it should be.

Every gun and vehicle should have pro's and con's and some kind of balance - but stealth choppers are wrong in that one - wonder what con's are for that chopper ?

Stealth choppers should choose between stealth or flares - cannot have both !

  • @Col_Larsen Knows knows this from all the feedback they have been getting. But DICE does not act on it. As if 90% of the vehicle-designers are on a 1 year long holiday.

  • @Col_Larsen When the next patch comes out at least we can tracer dart them even in stealth mode.

    In my experience, if you're locked or being locked and it completes before you turn on stealth, you get hit anyway. Can't say that works against enemy helicopters, but there's so many rules for different players its hard to keep track of what works and what doesn't.

    I thought the tracer dart fix was in the patch just released 4.2.0, or has 4.2.0 not been released yet. I'm confused now?

    @sk1lld Oh my bad, I apparently still think it's last week 🙄. You're right that it's the patch which has just come out.

    @AlkaniusRUS I dont know what the perfect balance should be - but having a vehicle with no threat is not ok - all should have pro's and con's. So if both flares and stealth - there should be increase in time between switching the modes - not just a push on a button. Stingers / javelins is not without danger as you need to stand still not to break the lock attempt - sniper food ! Wonder how the percentage looks how used in game - recoils vs stingers vs javelin's ?
