I don't think this new mode is any less nor any more tactical than the rest of 2042. To me, the only real difference is that there's no vehicles.
I like infantry-only, so I appreciate the new mode.
My only gripe is that I was hoping we'd be able to play it on NEW maps, specially designed for this type of warfare. So playing on the same old tired maps is a real let down, for me.
They also didn't include this mode for Solo/Coop, which is yet another slap in the face to their PvE customers...a big no-no because forcing us to play this in Portal for PvE means no weapon progression and very little BP progression.
If they gave us at least 3 new small maps to play this on (not remakes) and included the mode for Solo/Coop then I would play it regularly.
60€/$ for timed content skins is all that needs to be said
