Yeah, this "event" was a total bust for me, not fun, too grindy, rewards are meh at best
The lag and hit detection in this game at the moment is just horrible and wildly inconsistent just as I predicted, this event simply highlighted all that for me.
@Ironhead841hard to believe it has been anything but a bust for everyone. It was basically a Featured Experience, which they have already had, with the majority of the new content behind the paywall. The assignment for the 4 earnable items was lazy, earn X amount of badges in Tactical Conquest. That is going to keep people coming back? They could've easily just said play this mode for X amount of hours or earn X amount of XP; it is basically the same thing and not interesting in the least bit.
It looks like what is left of the player base didn't really care for it. Somehow, the player count has dropped and is now lower than the week prior to the event. We are slowing bleeding back down to late Season 1 numbers where hardly anyone is playing. My first round is always Defender on BT in progress, normally near end of the match. I then get thrown into an empty lobby and have to wait for players again? It still makes no sense to me.
@ATFGunrO trust me normally I would never waste 1 cent on cosmetics. I bought s1 battle pass ($10) and each season will earn enough to buy the next season because ill always reach battle pass lvl 100. So I had a bit of extra right now so I got just that on skin for 500 boins. Still have enough boins to buy s3. I would spend a bit of money to help support the game but with them ignoring the playerbase on certain areas I won't. For example: my topic about the MCS 880 being broken on PS4. It's just keeps getting ignored.
