in general I like the mode. however, that's where it ends.
I was hoping for new maps like Op. Metro from BF3, but instead we got truncated areas of existing maps. I would also like to join new games, not in progress ones. as of right now, I have only joined one game from the start with one other game nearly from the start.
this brings me to matchmaking. it seems every game is lopsided, all or nothing. one team either has all the skill or all the lag advantage, and they always win. this is very frustrating. I am painfully average so finding similarly skilled players shouldn't be an issue. but this mode show how small the player base truly is.
It's not an event, it's dice using it's marketing team to try to get players back, but forgetting, that you actually have to make something special in-game for it to work.
Short answer: They use their marketing team to sell us dirt.... Again
