Time to uninstall
Dear DICE and EA.
I understand you are trying to fix the game. But at this point, I really do think it's a lost cause. I logged in again tonight after taking a break and because of Hurricane Ian, and was trying to enjoy myself, trying to unlock the P90. I went 7 and 20-something on the new breakthrough map. Sure sure, get good, but I freely admit I'm no top tier gamer -- but I'm not THAT bad. Even when I got the clear jump on people w/the K90 they turned and burned me in a frame. I had a guy dead to rights, point blank range, fired first with the K90 while he was firing at somebody else (he was using the LCMG), I got him to half health while he flicked to me, killed me instantly - I had so many 1 frame deaths it was ridiculous. You put in new guns and new vehicles and then try and balance them later. You under-tune other guns and vehicles. Why does the howitzer on the new vehicle travel 40m before hitting the ground? Sure it's an OP weapon, but 40m? LOL. Guns, vehicles, gameplay are a joke now, aside from the maps. Anyway, I could go on but I know I don't need to.
What happened to the gameplay of BF4 and the beauty of BF1. Now I'm in the 2042 and the vehicles and weapons are less advanced (and have less advanced upgrades) than BF4's did. I'm running around dull maps that don't have the 1/4 of the detail that BF1 did. I've played since BF3 and this had always been my franchise, but I'm so fed up with being fed crap. I mean you better really knock the next one out of the park because I won't buy another game from DICE unless and until it's been thoroughly vetted in reviews. And that breaks my heart because I've loved Battlefield. It is crazy to see CoD doing BF better than BF.
Rest of you flame me all you want; I think it's fair to let DICE know how I feel as a long time player of the BF franchise and that they are losing me as a player since they can't seem to get their act together.
