@22SAS-MRBEA I frequently try out weapons I see people dominating with, and the effects of those weapons often leave much to be desired. Its a frequent giveaway that something is amiss when they're knocking skulls at 50m in two shots, but you'd have to dump half the mag at minimum to land a kill, if it lands the kill at all before they scoot out of the way. PP-19 was one of those weapons, where they blow five people away on one mag every single time at like 20m plus, but you're having to expend so many rounds to get a single kill.
In that round there I was running on the FNB mode, which if BF3 vs BC2 era. I was running a scout kit with the M24 and the MP443, and made it up to 15 kills running around between flags using it close quarters. Immediately I noticed something wasn't right based on the previous round: an enemy sniper one hit killed me with the M24, to the body, at over 150m. I was shooting people within 30m and below and it was two hits to kill. Anyway, go 15 kills, no deaths, then get instantly located and shot by a low rank player. From that point on, instantly found and shot by a multitude of low rank players. Several of whom had bullets pass straight through their heads multiple times.
Another parachuted out and ate a full pistol mag. Shrugs it off, kills me. Another fired a rocket (which I saw them about to do) as I jumped from a cliff. I was over 20ft and below a ledge when it hit the cliff, yet it nearly killed me outright. When I fired a SMAW (same weapon) at the ground within five feet of an enemy around a corner when I ran dry on my primary, it did nothing. In an earlier match I shot a T-90 TEN times with an M1 cannon before it got about 5hp, and then the kill was stolen by an A-10. My tank then took three hits and exploded instantly.
Sometimes when you snipe people seem to automatically move out of the way or just stop/change direction at the absolute perfect moment before even knowing they're being aimed at. Its like an automatic reaction to the trigger being pulled. If they're standing still, they'll move. If they're sprinting, even in the open, they'll just stop dead for no reason so the shot doesn't hit. Shots will go up, down, regardless of being aimed at the same spot. If you're fired at, or hit, its like you're under old suppression effects. But enemies are not.
There absolutely is a shadow system running in the game as well that increases difficulty as you approach certain kill milestones. I've noticed its every 20 kills, the difficulty ramps up big time, frequently making it a chore to get to 20 or 40 or 60. Enemies will take more shots from you, but die easier to friendlies, delaying you reaching that score. Or they will kill you more easily. This happens so much that it cannot be a one off thing. Its literally all the time. It doesn't make sense to be playing against the same people and doing well and then all of a sudden they turn into pro shots who instantly know where you are, where you're going, and just take more damage than previously.
