Finally been able to find matches with enough people playing ps5 only and it is a much better experience! The unexplained weirdness across ever aspect of game when playing crossplay seems largely gone. Whatever your playing on I suggest trying some rounds without cross-play and see how it feels. I’d be interested in your thoughts.

Crossplay with pc and console was a bad idea in the first place, it should have been crossplay with PlayStation and Xbox, then PC by itself. Hell Let Loose does this great.

It speaks to Dice not having figured out a way for all the different platforms to interact. Too many players still have it on, so the servers don’t fill (and may never) which is too bad.

Keep trying but when I turn off cross play can't ever find a server. Cross play is a horrible experiment.

Its a definite night and day difference in overall performance and experience for sure.

Keep trying but when I turn off cross play can't ever find a server. Cross play is a horrible experiment.

I've noticed a huge (10-15ish per side) influx of players on PS5 since 2042 was added to PS+.

I believe it's also on GamePass and EA Access so now everyone should be able to have a nice balance in gameplay with it turned off (depending on the mode, of course).

I will have to re-try this as the last time I did it still had trouble finding players but this is when it was first added to PS+.
