UK Servers ?
Will battlefield 2042 have UK servers ? I stopped playing V when i could only connect to german ones and be a bullet magnet for our european friends.

@pvyoddball4573 There haven't been any server locations announced so far unfortunately, we may not know this until the game I'd released.
If I were to guess I wouldn't expect UK servers, based on the fact that they were shut down in BFV due to under-use. You shouldn't be having connection issues when connecting to EU servers in general though (my ping is normally 28ms when connecting to the EU from the UK, for example).
My KD ratio went south when they removed the UK servers so i stopped playing, its just not the same, EA put the UK servers back in for fifa 21, my average wins went up along with two divisions increase, if they do not add UK ones for this iteration of battlefield then its going to be a pass from me.

Sounds more like you may have ended up playing with far out of region players instead of just your next door Europeans?
From checking on players' latencies, I often come across high performance discrepancy across players even in the same geographic location. So that as single parameters is not really valid to distinct between great game performance or not. Aka one guy in London connects to my 'European based server' (Rotterdam NL) with a fine latency of 19 milli seconds. While another Londoner may connect with a troublesome 237 milliseconds. All while a fellow in Glasgow connects with 23 milli seconds. And a New Yorker connects with 81 milli seconds. Even with a UK based server, you would still have trouble in the game with that high latency player living next door.
The server's location and connectivity is important of course. But most frequently it is the first kilometers of each individual player's connectivity that decides if the gameplay is fluid or not with such players. (actually most often, it is the first few meters of connectivity in the player's own home :o)
But all agreed of of course, that the lower the latency across all for both servers and players, the better the game experience.
I am located in Frankfurt, and my ping difference between Frankfurt and London is 11ms i doubt thats doing much of a difference. For you too mate.
Hate to break it to you OP but I highly doubt the servers moving 400 miles across the sea is making that much difference.
My average ping from the best 5 UK servers on BF4 right now: 21ms
My average ping from the best 5 German servers: 25ms
Unless you're on a high end PC monitor your display will add more latency than that.

Nice ones @No1StingerUserUK and @frantayps,
Think maybe @frantayps may be faster connected to the UK server than OP might be himself? :o)
Really easy tool to use that you shared with us @frantayps , much appreciated!
Here from Luxembourg...
You can put all the info you like about ping etc.... we had the same nonsense in fifa, they put in a UK server and my win ratio improved, they took away the UK server in battlefield V and my ping went from 14 to 25, my K/D ratio went down and the games were not as enjoyable, a server in your own country is better than connecting to one thats not, i dont need graphs to tell me, i trust my own experience.
same here
fingers crossed
