Dice,come on! I'm all for cross play in battlefield and fps games on a whole! But PC against console in bf2042 Really?.. There's only one winner here, for example keyboard and mouse against controller = PC win , 144fps or more on some rigs against 60fps on console =PC win! Do you see where I'm going? This is making servers vastly unbalanced! I m sick of dying 2 seconds after spawning in and being shot by a pc player! It's not fun and I imagine I'm not alone thinking this! Face to face combat against pc player, pc player wins everytime! My question is. Dice for the love of god can you please create cross play servers for Xbox and playstation ONLY?

I played two rounds last night, every death I had was to a console player in servers that had about 50%-60% consoles? I’ve never been one of those “get gud” people, on 2042 so much of the fault lies with desync, lag, etc… it’s really the most poorly optimized game I’ve ever played, but reading your post makes me think in this case, maybe it’s warranted. Since the last patch, and I’ve been looking, the top of the scoreboard are console players. Many console players are really good and don’t seem to be having the same issue as you. A few months ago I’d have agreed with you, since patch 2.1 I can’t get there dude.

@246stNSW I’m not getting one shotted in all cases. When one shot, it’s a SFAR headshot by a console. I often get multiple hits from a console player where all the shots hit, there’s no spray and pray, just accurate aimed fire. The other deaths are multiple hits but really close together, which is server side correcting for lag so I die around a corner by a package of bullets. Those ones are on Dice and their servers, and we are all victims of that, PC and Consoles together. I’m not ragging on consoles either, the players aren’t the ones driving this bus. I want and enjoy a competitive atmosphere, but it’s gotta be fair.

Something is way off in COD games from my experience. I’ve found some articles on their business practices and definitely think they’re capable of being very shady. A similar situation was with Halo Infinite. I really think the slower movement and higher aim assist killed it for MnK players, and didn’t give the game a chance.

I played the MW2 beta and noticed CoD's netcode gives the player running around corners a huge peeker's advantage. The meta in that game is jumping around corners so the person waiting on the other side aiming down their sights has no time to react.I definitely noticed there's a lot of player movement desync in CoD's netcode.

@ATFGunr console player here, played beta on pc and recoil were a lot easier to control with my wrist than on console nowadays with my thumb.
As you said is certain than 2.1.1 finally fixed a lot the aim assist, but is nowhere break and moat of top scorers i see are pc players. Never in more than 1000 games i saw a console player with most eliminations. And most of the players i get killed by are on pc, didn't see your 60% console players since february when i could play with crossplay off.

You are using the fake scoreboard to determine anything? Who cares? That means nothing. Someone camping a tank in the rear on Breakthrough or playing the entire round in Stealth helo going 50-0 is not skill.
I am on PC, rank S123, and 90% of my deaths are from a console player. Most of the time with a headshot. If a console player hits me with a single bullet, all other shots hit. I cannot escape doing any action. Tracking is insane once the first shot hits.
Mouse input is also jacked on PC. There is a delay that's not there on console. AA also locks on with ADS when there is an enemy in your field of view, even if you don't see them. I have been shot thru vegetation and smoke, every time it's a console player.
Controller input does need assistance but some of the functionality is over the top.

I keep seeing this argument, and from my experience I have the same problem ALSO, but i am on XBOX being 1 shot by PC players almost every time (barring spawn and vehicle kills which is about 70%).
So maybe it isn't PC vs Console at all. Maybe just all of the other issues this game has?
I find it hard to believe that everyone is getting one-shotted by everybody else, unless the game itself is the cause.

I don't understand why Pc-players don't plug a controller in their PCs and try how "easy" it is, instead of claiming this and that. Then come back with stats that say that your K/D, amount of kills etc has gone up with 50% or whatever you think the difference is.

@ATFGunrtwice yesterday, in the same match, I got 2 headshots on a guy with M16 (55 dmg) and he turned and 1 shot me with an AM40 (30 dmg). Not saying this is a PC thing, but SOMETHING is wonky here....
my ping is around 37ms, so...

@246stNSW I think both PC and Console players agree that Crossplay between PC and console doesn't work. I would love to see Crossplay between PS5 and Xbox series. Two relatively equal platforms.

Aim assist on console is not that strong. Definitely not that strong to make it an advantage over pc players. If I do recall correctly, aim assist was designed on console, due to the fact that it is far more difficult to aim with a joystick than it is with a mouse. All this does is make it more evenly matched when console players play pc players, which still isnt. And for all the pc players say they are always being killed by console players, do you not realize that between Xbox and PS, there are way more console players than PC players. So duh, you're gonna get killed by a lot of console players
