Unfair ban in Battlefield 2042 — Please help!

Hello EA community and moderators,

I am completely shocked — my Battlefield 2042 account was unfairly banned. I have never used cheats, third-party programs, or any unfair methods. Throughout all my time playing EA games and other projects, I have always followed the rules. For me, gaming is not just entertainment — it’s a way to connect with others, grow, and enjoy honest competition.

I have already submitted an appeal (Case #221576999), but unfortunately, I have not received a response. It seems the anti-cheat system may have made a mistake. I have lost access to a game I care deeply about, where I invested my time, emotions, and even money.

I am asking you, the community and EA representatives, please support me in this matter. Any advice, like, comment, or reply that draws attention to my case could really help correct this mistake.

I am not asking for special treatment — I am asking for fairness. I want to enjoy the game I love again, honestly and without cheating.

Thank you to everyone who reads this! Any support means the world to me.

Sincerely,

Kolebastrik

Your reasoning doesn't make sense, why would they ban the people joining these XP farms while leaving XP farm servers up. And heavily modified portal gameplay restricts XP, again the game offers the tools, they will never ban anyone using them.

But a human k/d of 0,19 so it is true that he plays only against bots.
The question is, does he uses exploits in portal to get maximum output of XP for the BattlePass?

If so, then ban and i hope for some time.
If not and he is sincere with his solo play, they will let him back online.

I fully agree, if this person has been XP boosting the ban is fair, if not the ban should be lifted. We can't judge this unfortunately, only EA /Dice has access to the data.

No judging but just trying to seek clarity on what is going on. There are some inconsistencies in his story though, as well as he's dodging the question if he did boost.

15 hours in is scratching the surface, not investing time.

Then why playing vs AI bots mainly?

I was playing cooperative mode with bots. I was also playing alone with bots on my own password-protected server created through Portal.

What gamemode where you playing and what modifiers did you use?

Yeah and thats why it‘s up to EA/Dice to check it out.
i believe that they barely make mistakes with bans and double check before doing so.

  • Recently someone asked me if I’d ever joined XP farming servers. To be honest — yes, I did, but not for grinding. Just out of curiosity to see what they’re like. I never used them to boost my account, I’ve always played fair.

Not long ago, my account was banned. That day, the game wouldn’t launch from Russia, so after several failed attempts I had to use a German VPN to get in. I managed to play once, then stepped away for a while. When I came back later and tried to log in again, I saw that my account had already been suspended.

EA’s appeal response claimed cheats were found on my account, but that’s simply not true. I’ve never used or installed any cheats. I’ve already sent another appeal because I’m sure this was a mistake. Maybe the system flagged my VPN or the fact I once joined those servers.

It’s frustrating to be labeled a cheater when you’ve done nothing wrong. Could VPN use or just visiting those servers really trigger a false detection? Has anyone else experienced something like this?

I didn’t just play against AI bots by myself; I also played with close friends for fun.

In the game itself, there is a cooperative mode with bots and different modes available. When I played through the Portal, I used various modifiers, though I can't recall the last one exactly because EA deleted all my custom modes, and now it's empty. I remember setting up bots and alternating between the Iwo Jima map and the Laboratory map

  • If you're curious how I got so many bot kills in just 15 hours, here’s the deal: on the Iwo Jima map, when you’re already at the last capture point on the American side, the Russians often don’t let you pass and attack in large groups. I just stand in the corridor, shoot while listening to my favorite music, and sip my green tea. I enjoy the process itself, and the experience points I earn are secondary. Plus, not every kill counts immediately — there’s a cooldown by time or by kills, I don’t fully understand the system.

Playing with friends makes it even faster: we attack from different sides, and the bots can’t do anything — the map gets cleared very quickly. At the start, I grab a helicopter with bombs and quickly take out a bunch of bots with precise strikes. If I’m lucky and the helicopter isn’t shot down, I fly all the way to the last point. If it is shot down, I take a tank and just roll into the points, crushing all the bots in the smoke with anti-infantry shells.

That’s the whole story, guys. Think however you like. I’m not going to convince you otherwise — you’ll believe what you want. I’m just a person who got unlucky and wants to restore fairness and keep playing for fun. This is the first Battlefield where I can truly relax with bots and enjoy the game the way I like, and the way my friends enjoy it too. Good luck to everyone!

I would say this is the reason yes. The fact that the ban occured immediatley after using the VPN strongly hints towards that. Also in combination with this:

Use software or cheats that interrupt other players’ connections to EA servers

You using a VPN to get in another region server than the one you're supposed to be in might cause your ping to rise and destabilize the server and as such create lag and network issues for everybody on that server.

I don't think you visiting an XP farm portal server once would be the reason. EA Dice would have a hard case defending a ban for that as they are the ones responsible for keeping these servers up. They can't blame users for clicking on something they don't remove.
