I also agree, ARs are now in a much better place, I even started to like SFAR which was previously quite disappointing to me. I made just a quick testing, but from that all the weapons feel in a good spot for their role now. 🙂
ARs feel REALLY good now. I think the M5A3 is going to become my new go-to until I can unlock the SFAR. The AK-24 is going to be the skill cannon methinks, rewarding people who can tame that hard vertical recoil. (I still think it's got too much kick for 5.45x39mm, but I'm not an expert.)
The LCMG feels about the same, honestly. I can barely get kills with it in multiplayer AOW but I think that's just because an LMG in an AR/SMG heavy game is at a disadvantage, not because of any problem with the gun itself.
I haven't tried the PP-29 post-patch but people are still using it and getting kills with it, at closer ranges this time. Which is good.

Did you guys try to disable crossplay? how does that work?

They already sold skins for the operators and 4 extra operators through the Year one pass/Gold and ultimate editions.
No way to change it now unless they give a full refund to anyone who bought the Gold and ultimate editions or The year 1 + ultimate bundle - @AuramiteX I agree! @EA_Atic bring back the classes of Battlefield 2 and get rid of the Hero Classes. Battlefield 2 had 6 classes: Spec-Ops, Assault, Medic, Support, Engineer, & Sniper...

The assault rifles feel more playable.
But the frames per second are still lower than they were for me before update #1. I still do not understand how they managed to De-optimize the game as far as my GPU is concerned. - @BizzyVaping They can bring back class system even with specialist.
Each specialist is put in a class group, those classes have limited secondary gadgets and weapon selection.
There now you have class system restored.
