@InS_HypnoI understand your argument.
The problem is why people that run with an SMG/shotgun (which are useless at anything but close range), can get one-shot by an sniper-rifle at close range?
Why should sniper-rifles have 2 one-hit-kill functions (no matter how much skill it involves)?
Because it makes snipers boring by forcing you to play 100m away and being * if anyone decides to come kill you
It's simply unfun
Even just moving from an objective to another it's pretty frustrating to just encounter someone close range and basically being dead 8/10 times
The only way to play sniping effectively is to camp at one far away spot and never move

@InS_Hypno My problem is that most of the games balancing is rock-paper-scissors and this is not really rock-paper-scissors.
Sniper-rifles are long/medium range weapons and making them into 'ghetto-shotguns' are giving them an advantage compared to other guns. Why shouldn't an SMG be able to one-shot kill with a headshot at any range then (it still has lower bullet velocity, worse optics etc etc)?
Most "snipers" doesn't really PTFO anyway, and this way of balancing just adds to the frustrating game-play in BF2042. Play CQC use the right tool.
