@Straatford87 Check the data for Australian conquest servers class make-up.
What do you see?
That's right at least 1 in 3 players are now engineers.
You know what that means?
It means the rocket spam against my lovely tank is the same post update as pre update.
APS or Instant Repair in conquest?
Instant Repair is essential so APS is not the tank buff you claimed it would be.
How to fix?
Well WE all know the answer but it will never happen.
Weapon restrictions by class.
Thanks for reading!

What I like:
- No more Mackay/Sundance placing spawn beacons in impossible locations
- The idea of 'free' class gadgets, especially repair tool.
- Guns available to all classes/the idea of proficiencies.
What I dislike (and how I'd change it):
- Lis feels like the obvious engineer option with the extra anti-vehicle gadget. Boris and Crawford just aren't attractive options.
- Possible suggestions: Buff turrets so they are as desirable as C5. Provide extra M5/FXM/Jav ammo. Buff benefits from SOFLAM. Make Crawfords repair tool ability work in reverse - as viable anti-vehicle option.
- Assault - The strongest class is also the most selfish class. Sundance/MacKay+C5 vs tanks is unfair.
- Possible suggestion: Remove C5 from assault. The selfish should be punished!
- Free spawn beacon is making it very difficult/obnoxious to confidently clear areas.
- Possible suggestion: Swap spawn beacon with darts. This should make Boris/Crawford more attractive as well.
- Rao isn't clicking for me. Two issues. 1) Do your internal metrics show that people are taking advantage of his new hack/designation feature? I've hacked hundreds of targets and can't recall anyone ever landing a missile thanks to the hack. Time window is too short. Vehicles can easily counter incoming missiles. Feels pointless when working with randoms. 2) Air vehicles no longer respect the hack. Air vehicles are calling the bluff and holding onto their flares. Rao only feels viable if on VOIP coordinating with an engineer. 2x Lis feel more effective/easier than a Rao+Boris/Crawford.
- Possible suggestion: Successful hack should reset countermeasure timer or disable counter measures for ~8(?) seconds. Designated targets should be visible to potential partners whether or not they have the appropriate gadget equipped (allowing them time to swap and fire). Hacked vehicles should have a 'countdown bar' so potential partners can assess if they have enough time to launch a missile before countermeasures are back. Allow hack to flip deployed enemy gadgets. Hacking the enemy Ranger sets it free to frolic with the other Rangers in the hills of Valparaiso. Allow hack to reveal nearby enemies. Continuously hacking the flag in conquest speeds it up by 20%. Accept that the hack will never feel fair/fun - scrap it and replace it with something else.
- SOFLAM feels weak. Lack of potential partners. Locked missiles are easily countered. I can just press the spot button to spot soldiers now.
- Possible suggestions: Buff Boris/Crawford, see above. Give tanks guided shells. Speed up spotting time so that it's superior to the 'free' spotting feature. Allow designation to last longer.

@AngrySquid270 I can agree with the spawn beacon, I think the big issue is that it makes no noise and with the way terrain and maps are they are very easy to hide. Previous BF games the beacon was making some noise so you could locate it.

Also if you read the 2042 subreddit, some people complain about the classes, but most people there agree with that it makes the game more balanced and better, just needs some tweaks.
- Dutchie-Mario2 years agoRising Veteran@PixelSquish it seems like the subreddit is leading then. Never been there but apperantly that's the community that wanted the changes, now I get it why I'd never heared about the strong desire of classes to screw up the game. Why even bother to ask opinion here?
- 2 years ago@Tank2042Man I just wish the god-dann Recoiless Rocket launcher wasn't so damn overpowered!
