Update 3.2 Feedback
So the update is currently downloading (5.59Gb on PC) lets hear everyone's thoughts / feedback after you have played a few rounds.
-Medic defib feels so bad and the distance is a joke, even the old system is better and for such a garbage the free gadget slot was wasted instead of giving a smoke.
AC-42 shadow nerf was also once again completely pointless now we have even less AR choice than it was before. With the new dmg profile it makes no sense to play this weapon.
-The ADS nerf on magazines is also once again total nonsense, hey DICE where do I need more shots in the magazine? Right in close combat at the front! And where do I need to be able to act fast DICE? Right in close combat at the front!
And in general you must be aware that this adjustment makes some weapons completely bad? How about you finally replace your apparently YES SAYER playtester with useful players who also play your game instead of just making stupid videos.
-The netcode feels and is even worse than before, I mean December was already horror but now it feels like I'm playing BF3 with 5HZ and 2 sec delay client side network smoothing.
(and NO i play with 10-15ms and 0% packetlost)
-The new animation of landings is also really bad and bugged, it doesn't look good when you are pressed into the ground and then can't even control your char anymore and this dirty animation happens even when you land with a parachute WTF. Again a dev time waste where no one asked for it.
I can go on for hours, but this update is a joke when you think how long it has been worked on and how it is advertised.
sorry for the spelling but i'm pissed because this game is taking more steps backwards than forwards with every patch.
@Ne0tax+1 on netcode. I don't understand how is it getting worse...
I haven't had this many one frame deaths and behind cover deaths since launch of the game.
Also recently I've had some massive delays, like the server goes back a few seconds and teleports me to some previous position, I never experienced this before now.
The Repair Perk is making HIND and Little Birds IMPOSSIBLE to kill, it takes at least 3-4 players as a squad to hit them sequentially now. AA Wildcat cannot kill them with combo AA/Guns, like prior.
Even jets cannot kill a hind if it has 2 Crawford guys on torches. even the TOR takes 4 shots now to kill a hind if 2 Crawford repair guys are pax. Repair Perk should be disabled if airborne or at least nerfed. Definitely a Negative effect there.
first huge negative for me as both Infantry and Vehicle driver.... just witnessed a hind and little bird easily dominating a round with 100 kills

You could never kill a transport with repair monkeys on board pre patch with AA and 30mm.
That has been a major problem since day 1.
I don't know what kind of team you get or player you're but clearly never tried to fly, getting constant lock on spam and salty lis players who just spam rockets at you nonstop is very annoying, heli in this bf takes a lot of skill, unless you just fly into the base and just want to die instantly, the 100 kill type heli players know how to use the heli to it's best power.
You act like anyone can do this, lock on spam + aa tank just sitting in the main waiting for you + lis mains + jets, you're flying a cardboard box soaked in gasoline, if anything we need more places to take cover, you not being able to take down air power seems more like skill issue, team work and smart plays can take out anyone. Plenty of other modes to play than just conquest if you do not like the air power.

I second the sentiments of this poster.
This change should had never made it past testing.

If we need anything, it is more places for infantry to take cover, not planes and helicopters. Because more cover for planes and helicopter also means more high ground for snipers. And we already have plenty of those, as one of the major issue in BF2042.
