User.cfg & Advanced Launch Options in Origin... disabled for BF2042?

I'm sure this has come up before, but the user.cfg file creation placed into BF2042's root directory and the Advanced Launch Options in Origin don't do anything in BF2042. I've tested it with just the FPS counter, and with other command line items to no avail. Is there a new method for this, as I've been doing the tried and tested method for years in previous Battlefields.

Moving forward, will this be permanently disabled, or is this going to be added later?

  • @SterlingARCH3Rsome commands work, others dont. dont know the reason. eg. ...drawfps 1 doesnt work, only in-game through the console, but eg. ...processorcount # does work, setting it in the user.cfg alters the worker threads in ...screeninfo 1 in-game

User.cfg doesn't work for me either. So no way to change thread.maxprocessorcount command.

i try in a user.cfg and in origin advanced launch but doesn't work  :/

    Any other idea?

  • Wish EA would respond to this. The game runs like crap. I want to set the processor count.

As of update 3.2.1, user.cfg is working again in Battlefield 2042.
