Good point and not saying it's wrong. Fair enough it's someone else's vehicle, BUT..IIRC that's not how it worked in other titles. didn't you use to get what you wanted in your seat? Or am I mistaken there? I haven't installed any older version to test this theory YET 🙂
@Echo6Echo good question, I don't recall how it was on previous versions either.
I don't believe past BF games had customization options for the gunner seats.
Maybe BF3/BF4 allowed the gunner to select an optics setup, but there weren't any gun options to choose from.
BF3 did have the CTIV seat and its existence was determined by the driver, I think.

You know, now that you mention it, I seem to recall that you didn't get certain turrets/pods until you leveled. The commanders seat maybe...that's it, I'm going to have to install the older titles!
